Not good news

We had our OB appointment today. We were hoping for a little relief afyer our last MC but did not get any. Based on my last cycle I should be 5+2 today. Betas were low last week but doubling every 43 hours I beleive.

On the ultrasound they saw nothing. I know it could be to early and I am still hopefull. But I also understand it could either be etopic or an early MC. We are doing more blood work today and that should give us a better idea. And we will go for another ultrasound on Monday. I am going to be a wreck over the weekend.

I'm sorry you didn't get the definitive positive scan you were hoping for. Fx that next week shows your bean growing like a weed.

When was your last beta and what was the number ? This early even if you are off 2-3 days it could be totally Normal they didn't see anything

That sounds stressful. Hopefully it's just too early and you see something on the ultrasound next week. Hugs.

@katiebartton last beta was 5/11 and it was 109. So it could very well just be to early. Only time will tell. I am anxiously waiting for my results from the draw this morning. I know you can't hold to much faith in the numbers but at this point thats all I have.

You typically can't see anything at all until you reach at least 1,000 or more likely 2,000. Based on your numbers, it may just be too soon! Keep the faith, I will be pulling for you!!!

Keep us updated - your levels would still be pretty low and I think it's pretty common to not see a gestational sac until you hit 2-3k

based on on your number you'd be right under that - if you doubled every 48 hours you'd only be about 1600 - my levels only doubled evey 60 hours

Do you know when you ovulated? Most doctors go by LMP until they can actually see something on the U/S to date it but if you ovulated later than the "average" 14 days.... say you ovulated on CD21--which isn't crazy at all--you'd be just 4+2 in reality. FX for you either way

5 +2 is really early to see anything on the ultrasound. I get frustrated with doctors sometimes. I know you have a history, so I understand extra precautions, but bringing women in too early just leads to anxiety in too many cases. Good luck.
