Rants/ raves/ symptoms: As my hubby has found me in tears twice the last couple days he has said to me twice "well I hope he stays in a couple more weeks..." All I can think to myself is I hope you manage to rack yourself on something really hard...  Rave the weather has been really nice the last couple days. Symptoms are contractions, lots of BM, horrific PUPPPS rash of doom, minimal swelling in my right leg still, and weird bp lows at times.

what are you doing to prepare for baby? We need to put the crib in our room and the car seat base in the car.

GTKY: Totally ready! Work your way out of my pelvis kid.

Rants/ raves/ symptoms: sleep managed to elude me once again last night :( having issues not freaking out about the little to no movement I have been feeling today.  H keeps saying it's probably fine but in can't help but worry. I told him if I don't feel anything today we are calling the health line to get advice cause I'll keep freaking out till my appointment Wednesday if I don't.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just putting away clothes and writing thank you cards from the shower.   Going to do a bit of running around for the hospital bag I really want to get a robe.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: Do you actually feel "ready" to take this baby home? No not at all, freaking out that I'm going to screw something up, how am I supposed to know everything and make sure he's safe!

Rants/ raves/ symptoms: Raves: It's the weekend Baby!!!! Symptoms: BH, Lighting crotch, hurts to stand up and lift my leg..

  • How far along: 35 weeks

    Rants/ raves/ symptoms:
Raves: My baby shower was yesterday. It was great, and now we have to put everything away/
Symptoms: Lots of BH, swollen feet, peeing a lot, so the usual.
Rants: I may be getting a sore throat.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Have to put everything away, still need to install the car seats and put the crib together, and buy the other things that are needed from our registry.

    Questions? Not today.

GTKY: Do you actually feel "ready" to take this baby home?
Nope. We still have a lot to do as stated above. Also it seems like one of those things where you aren't ready until it happens. At my baby shower one of our friends says she is still not ready and her son is 1, and they are having another baby in October.

  • 37 weeks today!

Raves: We've settled on a name and I am super happy with it!
Symptoms: Had a stressful day yesterday and almost went to L&D due to elevated BP. It went down so we stayed home, but I put myself on slight bed rest until I can talk to my doctor Tuesday.
Rants: I cannot drink enough water!

To prepare for baby I've found my breast pump, hubs installed the car seats, we purchased diapers and packed our bags. Our on-call helpers to watch our son are prepared and my dad's ready to come up. It's getting close!

Do I feel ready to take baby home? YES! Partially because this has been a ROUGH pregnancy and partially because I've been nervous about welcoming a new baby but am now so close that I'm far too excited to worry. I want this baby in my arms!
