Has anyone done this? I have a decent commute to work each day & it seems like a way to maximize time, but it also seems like it could be awkward. Any one have any advice or warnings on this?
I don't think it would really be distracting. I pump hands free already at home. So I could just get set up and going before I leave the driveway at home and then turn the pump off and get disconnected when I get to work. I don't imagine that I would be doing anything with it while I'm driving.
Yes, I have done this, but not regularly, only in a pinch. Every time I did, I was a little nervous about what might happen to my body if I got in an accident, but I agree that for me it really wasn't distracting while I drove.
One of my coworkers had a good experience using Freemies with her pump rather than the standard flange setup. She said she would even go through the drive-through while pumping sometimes.
I can't imagine that it would be distracting if you're used to pumping. I pump hands free at home a lot and sometimes forget I'm even hooked to my pump. Lol
I've tried it a couple of times and plan to do it on an upcoming road trip and on my commute once I return to work. It was surprisingly easy, although I usually do more massage/compression while I'm pumping than I'm able to do while driving obviously. I just draped a light blanket over my front and you can't even tell what I'm doing.
Yes. I got quite good at with DS1. I just kept a lightweight blanket to cover myself bc I traveled the interstate and didn't want to distract the truckers. I also kept bottled water in the car to rinse parts in case I wasn't going directly home.
I did it too in a pin H with DD1 but plan on doing it both to and from work this time around. I was going to use my cover but I am seriously considering the freemies.
I don't recommend doing it without having some kind of hands free option though.
