  What is your first name?   Kelly
  

  When is your due date?    December 22

  What part of the world are you from (be as vague/specific as you want)?  Pittsburgh (my username doesn't leave much to the imagination, lol)

  What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?  FTM!

  What is your occupation or dream occupation?  I work in the veterinary field, love it!

  Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination?  We're Team Green (so far, I'm really hoping to hold out!) so it will be neutral.  We haven't fully decided on a theme, but I'd love animals to be incorporated somehow....woodland animals, puppies & kittens, vintage Winnie the Pooh, who knows.

  Have you bought anything for baby yet?  I have not, but my BF gave me two onesies for Mother's Day (one for each gender)...they're the tiniest, cutest things!

  If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far?  My Target maternity jeans are the only thing I've purchased, but they are the greatest thing ever.

  What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far?  Not to sound selfish, but I love how doting my BF has been since we found out.  He's been spoiling me rotten, even when I don't deserve it bc I'm overly moody, and it's been amazing.  I feel very lucky, and I'll be repaying the favor for sure!  

  I also love the excitement I'm getting from the women in my life who are already mothers (my mom, sister, and BF's mom).  It's like they can't wait to see me become a mom and to share the experience with me.  I love that there's a different connection that we'll now share!

  Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand?  I've only tried one maternity brand, so I guess that makes Target my favorite!!  The bloat was so bad I decided to bite the bullet and buy some maternity jeans, let me tell you, I've been missing out!  It's like a yoga pants version of jeans....go get some!!

  One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy?  How do I choose??  Probably the furniture for the nursery?  We've already been slowly starting to look around and my BF tends to go overboard on stuff like that (no complaints here!).

  What are your top pregnancy related priorities?  Of course having a healthy baby and pregnancy are at the top of the list!  I've also been obsessing over insurance and maternity leave lately.  We're not married yet, and I don't get paid leave (FMLA only), so we're already trying to plan finances and coverage for the baby so we do it the smartest way possible.  My BF has a great job, I'm lucky I don't have to stress too much, I just need to know that it's figured out and that I'll have flexibility when it comes time to decide if I'm going back to work or not.  So many things to plan!!

  What is your favorite book?  Tough to choose, but I love the entire Harry Potter series!

  What is your favorite tv show?  Game of Thrones

  What is your favorite movie?  The Shawshank Redemption.  I watch it every time it's on TV, can't help it!

  What is your favorite band/singer?  I've been loving James Bay lately (I tend to like sappy music) and just found out he's coming here in September!  Yippee!!  

  Anything else you would like us to know?  I'm so happy to have found this group!!  I stalk the boards while I'm at work...shhhhhh...and I love the banter all day!  I try to participate as much as I can, but even just reading makes me feel like I'm not alone in all of this first tri craziness!!  I'm so thankful for all of you and I'm hoping for happy & healthy pregnancies/babies for all of us!

  I am in the same boat! One pair of new pants so far.I bought maternity leggings from Target and they are the most amazing things ever. (Supposedly the only brand that is not see-through, according to many women) I will probably get baby furniture at Target too. Nice to meet you!

  Nice to meet you! We're Team Green too but my biggest fear is the doctor slipping up. I'll be the pregnant lady screaming "I DONT WANNA KNOW" as I walk into every appointment.

  Nice to meet you! We were team green for our first and it was so exciting. I was the one who looked first and got to announce that we had a son. So cool. Congratulations on being a FTM! There's nothing like it.

  I love my Target maternity jeans too!! Just like you, I stopped fitting into my normal jeans pretty early thanks to bloat so I decided to swallow my pride and buy a couple of pairs from Target. Best. Decision. Ever.

  Hey Kelly! Also loving my maternity jeans investment haha. I keep telling myself and DH that I could wear regular pants if I wanted to ... I just don't want to!

  @Pgh_KelShawshank Redemption is my favorite, too!  And like you, I get sucked in each time I find it on TV.  It's seriously the best movie ever.

  @aevan011 I did that every single time I had an appt with my first two girls!  I was so afraid of the doctor or u/s tech saying something.

  @MamaWino A friend of mine is about 6 months pregnant right now and her doctor slipped and said "she". They weren't terribly upset but I think I would be since I'm so set on not knowing.

  Nice to get to know you. I also work in the veterinary field and love it. And for DS's nursery I did a Safari animal theme. It was so cute. I had thought of doing Peter Rabbit and found some cute stuff on Etsy for it. Just another animal related theme
