Yup, still pregnant! Just been super busy scrambling to get things done at work and at home. We've been in real estate wars trying to buy a house. Can I mention how much I HATE the real estate market?!?

  • And take 3! Nothing is comfortable or easy at this point. Baby girl is up another lb at Monday's US, so almost 6lbs, wish they never measured her at 32 weeks, save my sanity a bit. Do you have to move now @redheadbride15?

  • @Wyattnash00 at least you are looking good!! B)@jilligan14 no way does your bump look overly big- you are 28 weeks and perfectly perfect!!
  • Bless your heart @createillumination!! All bets are off with eating and excercise these last weeks

  • @Wyattnash00 We have to move by Aug 31 and have now lost out on two houses. I had really hoped to get things lined up before baby arrived, but we underestimated how insane the market is. I just don't want to be homeless with a newborn... One of a bunch of things stressing me out right now!

  • Ugh ugh ugh @redheadbride15!! My best friend said it's nuts up there now, like 15 people go in over asking price. Worst case scenario, rent for a year?! Moving sucks but takes some pressure off

  • How were the TSA lines for you @mamafesto? I have to fly out of o'hare next month and heard lines took over 2 hours over the weekend and that they're bad throughout the country too. Aside from standing for that long, I'll probably have to go the bathroom twice during that time! I think it's too late to shell out the $ for TSA approved...
  • @jilligan14 - Um, NO, your bump is NOT big. :)

  • @BernieRae, I flew out of our tiny airport in Burlington, VT, so it was fine. I did just fly out of Midway on Monday, though, and it was pretty slow going. Took a good 45 min. to get through. Good luck!

Yup, we offered 5% over asking on the first house, which received 12 offers, and then nearly 10% over asking on the second house, which received 7 offers. If we don't solidify something in the next month then we'll be forced to find a rental for the year, which would suck. I hate the idea of moving, especially with a baby, and I want to nest SO BADLY.

  • That sucks @redheadbride15! I'm so sorry how much that sucks!
  • @redheadbride15 ugh ugh ugh. The overall real estate market in the Greater Boston area totally blows unless you are selling. I'll keep my ears to the ground, I know a few people who work in real estate and might be able to pass a couple of leads your way.
  • @redheadbride15 - Yikes! How stressful! And here I'm anxious for our roommate to move out by July 1st so I can start my nesting process but man oh man, I can't even imagine not knowing where I would be living. I really hope something comes together soon so you can feel settled and start doing all the fun baby prep stuff!

I really didn't think my belly was that big but people keep saying stuff so I don't know. People are dumb sometimes. I had my midwife check-up today and she said I was measuring right on track. I'm now going to 2 week appointments (I'm 28 weeks today). I thought I would go to 3 week appointments first but it looks like I just jumped to 2 week appointments? Is this normal? I mean, I'm not complaining - I love checking up on baby but am just confused.

  • @CarrieandRoy - oh, okay. Maybe that's the way it's done. For some reason I thought it went from 4 weeks to 3 weeks and then to 2 weeks. Either way, I'm excited to be going in more often. I always love hearing baby's heartbeat :-)

  • @jilligan14 - I think that's pretty normal to go to every 2 weeks at 28 weeks.  :)  Yay for getting to hear your little guy's heartbeat more!!  I didn't mean to seem snarky when I said your bump wasn't big, by the way.  Your bump is adorably perfect.  :)

  • @emsmama15 - I didn't read your comment as snarky in any way. I figured the people who were saying those comments were clueless. One was a guy who has never had kids so what does he know!! People just like to say things. It's either about how your bump doesn't look big enough or it looks too big. Why can't people just say I look wonderful? I mean, you guys all say it, I mean people in the real world. That's why I love you all so much! You get it.
