I saw this on the Dec 16 post and thought we should do this as well. This is a post to announce any appointments, ultrasounds, bloodwork etc.
Put your fears and feelings in this thread.

Re: Weekly appointment check in 5/16- 5/22
My first appointment is on Thursday and I'm so nervous! This is baby #5 so it's pretty much 'old hat' as far as what to expect, but I just can't help to have all the early worries. Just praying for a super simple first appointment with no hiccups!

First appointment is Thursday. I don't think i'll have a scan unless they want to date it. I'm pretty positive that i'll only be 7 weeks because I ovulated late but, by LMP, I'm should be 8 weeks 2 days. Last time there was that discrepancy, they ordered an US to date the little one and I'm kinda of hoping for a repeat so that I can see the bean.
Otherwise, I'm surprised that i'll have questions for them - most centered around Zika and early genetic testing. With third go-around (fourth if you count my first pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage), you'd think that I really wouldn't have any questions but life just keeps on changin'

My update? I don't go in until May 25 so no updates on appointments. It used to seem so far away but it's coming so quickly. Nausea is just starting. I was just saying had no symptoms but it is here. Only in the mornings right now and it's not bad. Haven't actually thrown up yet. So that's all thats new.

Measuring around 6w5d...but my RE moved my EDD back to January 8th (so 6w2d). I'm not quite sure of her reasoning...but it's only 2 days later than I thought based on my positive opk and it's really just an estimate at the end of the day...

I just called and mine doesn't see anyone until at least 8 weeks. My appointment is 6/20. What am I supposed to do until then? I guess I will just read ALL THE THINGS. I'm realizing I have read everything in the world about TTGP, but I have no clue when it comes to actually being pregnant.

Basically, I never noticed how much doctors in the US cover their asses to avoid lawsuits until observing the complete and utter lack of concern that doctors here have, lol. And to be fair--I'm pretty sure they're right and the baby is totally fine. It's incredible how resilient something so tiny can be.

Just had my ultrasound. I'm totally freaked but trying to channel zen. Had an ultrasound and the HR was 105bpm. OB said it could be because it's early (apparently the heart forms at around 6.5-7 weeks? guess who'll be researching this in a minute) or it could be...you know...unhealthy baby. So trying to chill out about it but, let's be honest, I'm really upset. Back next week for a recheck ultrasound and we'll see what happens in the meantime.

Thanks - me too. They measured EXACTLY what I had predicted - 7 weeks on the nose with an EDD of January 5th. If there's one thing I'm proud of, it's that I'm always on the nose for my EDDs
