Eli is 2 weeks shy from turning 1 and had been taking a step or two for a couple weeks. He officially started walking this past Friday and is now practically running around chasing the dog! It's awesome and frightening at the same time! I could barely keep up when he was crawling. On the bright side, maybe it'll help keep me in shape this second pregnancy. Lol
Luke was crazy! He started walking at just 9 months. I'm not gonna lie, totally thought it was cool at first but really it's annoying. Haha. He gets into everything!!!!! And now he teally good at walking and running and he runs away when you call him or he's being naughty.
Not walking here and we are a year in 2 weeks, but all babies will get there when they are ready! She climbs stairs like a champ though and climbs on everything she can get a leg on... Sigh.
Jasper will be 11 months this week and is walking the majority of the time but still occasionally crawls and cruises furniture/walls. He's starting to realize he can walk away from me and try to speed up the pace when he's being naughty. He thinks it's hilarious. Lawd help me.

We won't be a year until 6/21, but otherwise this is exactly my situation with DD.
A year on the 6th, and no walking. Totally fine with that!
He's been cruising well and walks well with toys and helping hands. He's stood up on his own without help a handful of times, but not consistently. He's starting to stiff-leg it when I try to sit him down on the floor, so there's definitely growing interest in standing/walking.
LO just started cruising last night. I was in awe... he is developing his skills so fast. Just last month he learned to crawl. Now he is able to pull himself up, climb stairs... and i'm sure walking is right around the corner.
@jjvanwagner25 I know good goose egg for us yesterday I worried some one might think it was me lol we have a really good cruiser who likes to let go of things but hasn't figured out walking unassisted yet it's coming though
Not even close!! Haha she doesn't even stand unassisted and isn't cruising either really. Gets around everywhere by crawling and pulling up and can walk some with her walker...but that's about it. She's my talker, not my mover (and I'm mostly okay with that) ETA: she'll be one year on 6/20
@TheNewMrsY my LO is similar. She cruises and walks all over with her walker, pushing a chair or toy or anything she can use to help her balance but she's definitely more interested in talking! Totalling fine with me. It's hard enough to keep up with her crawling.
DD just got a huge bruise on her forehead from pulling up and walking around our coffee table (not walking yet, just 11 months....but I think by a year she will). The receptionist at the doctor today said she can usually tell about how old a baby is by where their bruises are on their body! @jjvanwagner25
LO will be 11 months this week. He just reciently started standing unassisted and tips around the house with his walkers. I suppose within the next month or two he'll be walking. No rush though, I love love love this stage!
And he just started enjoying his stroller, I'm scared once he's walking he'll begin to protest! Just stay this age forever please!
@slr1229 isn't it so cute how excited they get!? When my LO uses her Walker or whatever it is she chooses to walk with she always looks at me with a huge smile on her face like "look at me mom!" I just love it!
Ours started walking last week at 10 months and a couple days. The waddle is the cutest thing! He still prefers to crawl but he's getting better at walking each day.
LO is going to be one on 5/28 and still just scoots around. He tries to pull himself up and only slightly cruises when holding on to the coffee table but that's it.
We aren't walking yet or standing unassisted yet either. We can pull up to stand on everything and walk along furniture like its nobody's business, but forget walking alone... Crawling is so much quicker haha

Noah turns 1 on June 23rd and has been 'walking' since 9 months, if only a handful of steps at the time. He's been properly walking since 10.5. Stairs, however, he's been able to climb since he was 7.5 months, and can now also get back down them
My kid is an expert walker if you let him hold a finger. He won't even attempt standing or walking on his own. So funny! Seems like a matter of courage at this point. That's ok, it will happen. I'm amused but not concerned or impatient.

Edited for spelling.
