Wondofo OPK tests...a little clueless??

Hubby and I are TTC #2...it's been a LONG process...Anyways -- I've been using the Wondofo OPK test for about 2 months, but I don't think I've been using them quite right...Can someone shed some light on if a positive test can have a medium dark line, and a dark line?  The latest one had a darker line at the 5 minute mark, but has since lightened up.  Thanks!!

  • I don't use these, but I'm guessing the box has directions telling you when to look. Is the 5 minute mark when you are told to look at it? If so, just go with what you saw then.

  • Maybe she thought she deleted the old thread and not just the photo?  That is my guess

  • @paigeamcnulty also just in case you don't check the other thread, from looking at your picture none of them were positive.  I have been using Wondfos for years and none of those looked like what positive ones look like.  Yes they do lighten as they dry, but BOTH lines lighten equally.  Keep testing.  Keep having sex.
  • Okay, that's a fair possibility @hopingforoneagain ;)

  • @wineo929 - I take it as a good sign that she took down the photo without telling us off :)

Maybe she's bumping on mobile and can't figure out how to reply?  Where ya at OP?
  • I'm here, just choosing not to respond.  Feeling like it might have been a mistake to create the post -- thanks for the responses.

@paigeamcnulty It's TOTALLY normal to be confused by those tests.  I totally was the first few months I used them.  I really, really encourage you to stick around.  Hang out with me and the other girls in the WTO (waiting to ovulate) thread and we can all obsess together if we have ovulated yet or not!
  • I don't think it was a bad choice to post. We just get SO many drive by posters that they get really frustrating. I get why there are two of your posts now, but at first I was confused (especially since there's a million happening right now).

I'd really recommend lurking, reading the newbie thread, and checking out the daily threads. The ladies here are incredible, it just takes a day or two to get a feel for the community. I'd stick around!

  • Wondfo opks are special. The first month I used them I was constantly wondering if it was positive or not. Once you get a positive you'll know :) Also, welcome!
