What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a sweet pea! Circulating blood now, so cool!
Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Actually DH and I have been talking alot about baby's arrival. We currently have all 4 boys in 1 room and just don't have the room to put #5 in there. We are already in the process of finishing our basement so we can move the office downstairs and have the 2nd bedroom for the boys, now our plans just need to move quicker lol. We plan to have the baby share the 2nd room with our oldest, he is 10 and the one that sleeps the hardest so least likely to be disturbed by a crying baby.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: So far my symptoms have been minimal. I am starting to notice queasiness, and certain smells bug me. Rant: DH decided yesterday he doesn't want to wait to announce baby and wants to announce after my appointment Thursday! Ahhhh this makes me nervous only because the way we want to announce is with a picture of the boys finding out. So I gotta figure out how to pull that off in 1 day!

Its now an embryo!! So cool ☺ still a poppyseed! I think it even said the heart started beating?? I'm gonna go re read about this.

Umm.. No just made the ob appointment for June 18th might go through the boxes and boxes of baby clothes my sister handed down to me! I've never been so excited to rummage through used clothing!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
Too damn excited I can't concentrate at work today! I got a tiny bit of nausea this morning it was short but fierce!
The hubz and I went out to eat last night to celebrate and called his mom before we went out after for ice cream to see if they would come over this weekend "to help around the house" (we really are planning on telling them as soon as they come over Saturday).. And she was like "why are you out to dinner?? What.. are you celebrating something? Why ice cream? Is she having cravings? I need to look into her eyes!" omg this woman is crazy! How does she know.. Hubz told her no And that HE was craving ice cream not me.. Which was true.. But omg.. Wtf how in the world... It was so weird. I don't think she bought our story... She knows!!

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Our lease for our one bedroom apartment is up in September and Seattle is getting increasingly expensive thanks to the Amazon mecca we now have here. We are starting to brainstorm areas where we could move to and have a bit more space and save more money (not going to even think about buying in this market!). Upped the amount we put into savings every month as well. Eating very healthy and exercising 6 days per week.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Rant - spotting. Very light and the doc said not to worry but you know I'm worrying. Had an u/s on Monday and saw a heartbeat so we're all good!
When is your next appointment? May 26 - blood/urine tests.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Not really, we plan to sit down and have a serious talk about finances. We are totally okay financially but we just want to re-prioritize certain savings... instead of saving for travel I guess we will have to start saving for baby stuff!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Tons of bloat, and still lots of cramping (but less and less each day). I feel too big for all my nice pants so that sucks but wearing maternity stuff already seems silly. I may just buy a belly band but I still feel like it may give it away... we shall see. I also am finding it hard to keep it a secret. Not sure if I care by this point, I may just start telling people as I see them in person especially if they are a good friend.
When is your next appointment? Next Wed May 25. So ready to see the OB already though worried I will be labeled high risk. I know that at 7 weeks my mind won't be put at ease yet because my first U/S likely will not be till 10 or 12 weeks.
GTKY: What is your favorite food? Italian!! Any type of pasta is heaven. Though due to PCOS I have been trying to cut down on carbs... *sigh*

We are trying not to do too much just yet but of course I'm starting to research everything we will need, how we want to decorate the nursery and looking at names! Haha

just some light cramping so far and mild nausea. Trying to decide if a friends wedding coming up in Florida too risky to go to with all of the Zika talk (we live in Iowa)
