Everything is not food

I know this is baby territory, but I am convinced my LO thinks everything is food! Straight to the mouth...thank goodness for Babyganics wipes! Her favorites include her plastic lunch box jelly sandwich and cheese block. She is also starting to gnaw on her hand lately and bit DH for the first time. Thankfully in 8 months of BF she hasn't bit me!

    lol. This my baby girl exactly. She is 8 months also. She thinks everything is for her to eat and she absolutely loves food. She will stare you down until you give her some of whatever you're eating (within reason). It can get really awkward sometimes when I don't want to share or if it is something she cant have yet. Turns into a stare down lol. Constantly have to watch her because literally everything goes in her mouth. She has this latch board by Melissa and Doug and I turn around and yep, she is chewing on one of the latches lol. She is BF as well and has bit me quite a few times.

    @kkerner87 yes! My LO doesn't stare, just loudly grunts until she gets a bite!

    Now that summer is around the corner, our one cat is shedding really badly. Any time she lays down she'll leave a little clump of hair behind and LO loves finding them and giving them a taste lol. It's so nasty!!!

    Our son has to "taste" everything too!  I will turn around and he's quietly licking the fridge door, the wall, knobs, the couch, door stopper, ANYTHING.  So gross!!

    My LO puts everything in his mouth including my nose! He is constantly chewing on his hands, every toy he has, the cats tail!! I simply laugh at him. I know he is teething and getting ready for more teeth.

    I got the nose nibble this week as well as my chin lol everything goes into the mouth.

    Yup. Same here. I have yellow rags that I keep in the kitchen for wiping the counters, table, stove, etc (these rags are soaked in detergent and bleach pretty much everyday). My son is obsessed with these rags.  Well one day I was wiping his tray and turned around to do something really quick and he grabbed it and was sucking on it!!! I was like ohh noooo!!  He loved it! He was sucking the water right out of it
