25 weeks on Hospital Bedrest!!

So to give a little backstory. My name is Aliyah and I'm 25w3days today. I've had a prior loss 5 years ago due to Incompentent Cervix or (IC). This pregnancy I'm seeing a high risk OB and MFM. I got a preventative cerclage or stitch in my cervix at 12 weeks. Everything has been normal. I had an appt with my MFM on Monday 5/9/16 and my cervix measured 4.7cm which is awesome. Fast forward to Thursday 5/12/16 and I started bleeding for the first time in my pregnancy (other than when I got the stitch). I called my dr, he told me to come in the next day and we did an ultrasound that showed my cervix had funneled down to 1.3!!! In just 4 days. So now I'm in the hospital on bedrest. I was given Indocin to stop contractions that I thought were just cramps but the doctor feels led to the funnel. Hopefully this will build my cervix back up. Also I was given 2 rounds of steroids in case baby boy makes an early arrival. The stitch is still in tact so that should buy me some time. I have an ultrasound this morning and this will determine whether they allow me to go home or not. We're trying our best to get this baby to bake at least until 34 weeks but for now it's just one day at a time.

Went to Dr. This am and they have put me on bed rest. I am 29 weeks and dilated to 1.5 and cervix is at 2.7. They've pulled out all the stops in case baby comes early. Hoping they can slow this whole thing down. I'll keep you in my T&P. This is no fun at all! I hope they are able to slow you waaaay down!
