(Brief mention of previous loss fyi)
Been lurking on the boards, but this is my first time posting. 10w3d and I'm having a really rough week.
Morning sickness has been pretty terrible since 6w, but since I'm not working right now I was able to avoid throwing up most of the time. I took a turn for worse last week, threw up three days in a row and started feeling depressed since I can't even sit up for more than 30 minutes and stopped being able to even go for a light walk. Got a prescription for phenergan and actually felt alive for a few days!
But the I crashed and burned Saturday night and couldn't stop throwing up despite the drugs and ended up in the hospital Monday for an IV.
Then on Tuesday I get the call about the listeria recall from Costco and I ate the recalled food twice over the weekend. Had a fullblown panic attack while I was waiting for the doctor to call back. That was fun...
The doctor doesn't seem too worried but I went in for blood work just to be safe yesterday, and had to go back for a second draw because they didn't get enough the first time.
They took quite a bit and now my temperature is running low (been checking periodically for fever at the nurse's request) and I feel like complete shit this morning and I'm worried I'm going to start throwing up again and end up back at the hospital.
I find out in around 3 days about the listeria and if anything is going on. They're doing a full panel.
I had a miscarriage at 5w last fall, and even though everything looked great at my 8w ultrasound (strong heartbeat, measuring perfectly), I'm so worried right now. Even though the listeria odds are very very low, I'm just completely worn down and scared and sad at this point.
(Edit for typos)
Re: Scary week :(
I hate that you're having to go through the listeria scare as well. It sounds like the odds of any danger to your baby are relatively low and that the clinicians aren't worried. Though I understand that's not really a consolation when you have experience with loss.
I hope you get very positive results at 3 today and that your symptoms start to ease up as well. <hugs> I'm sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.

No word yet in the blood work, but all signs otherwise point to things being fine.
