Implantation Cramps

Hi everyone!! Just got my positive test this morning and I was wondering if anyone knew/ felt that they were pregnant before the test confirmed?
2-3 days after DH and I conceived, I had cramping and other symptoms of implantation. A day later I was already peeing more than usual. Then came the heartburn I had only during my last pregnancy. Then the last 2 days I've been utterly exhausted.
This whole time I just knew I was expecting but kept telling myself I was paranoid and to wait till my next period to test. Anyone else experience this?

No. Implantation does not happen 2-3 days after sex. It takes 6-8 days after the egg is fertilized for implantation to occur.
    DD1: 6.22.04
    DD2: 9.22.06
    DS1: Born too soon, 19w3d 1.28.14

  • I have always felt implantation cramps, but implantation cannot happen as quickly as 2-3 dpo.
  • On a complete other note, it is nice to see another Raquel on this board! Welcome!
  • I had cramping the day of ovulation then a sore pinching sensation after as a result, but I know I didn't implant until late because I barely got a squinter at 10DPO. Congrats and welcome to the Jan17 board!

Is it possible you actually ovulated late? I have/had pretty gnarly cramps around O time and sperm can certainly survive for 2-3 days before conception. (or: alternately, you ovulated earlier than you thought but still had well-timed sex for that date too and actually did have implantation cramping)... but agree with others that you wouldn't feel implantation cramping at 2-3dpo.
