What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of an eclair or a canary. Looking more like a baby and learning how to "breathe".
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Started my registry yesterday! It was still a bit intimidating.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I've finally gotten over m/s! (Knock on wood). Seem to be more tired, but trying to push myself out of it a bit to get errands and walks completed each day.
When is your next appointment? June 2nd w OB, June 5th a/s ultrasound
GTKY: Met H on a camping trip in Maine w mutual friends. He and I both forgot our toothbrushes and he ran into town to get me one. We hit it off the rest of the weekend.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of an orange and might be starting to hiccup
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Dh and I went to BRU to register this weekend (mostly so we could get a working list started and know what we needed to do more research on) the salesperson was super pushy, though, and that sucked. Oh, well....glad to have a list started that we can go back to add edit as we figure out more of what we're doing
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I felt pretty crappy this weekend, but I'm not even sure if it was pregnancy-related...might have just been a random bug. Feeling a ton better now and might be starting to get my energy back
When is your next appointment? Juat had one Friday, so it's another month of waiting for me.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We worked together at an on-campus job during college. We were often the only two working so we spent a ton of time together and became good friends first.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Making a crochet blanket. I already painted the nursery before I got pregnant
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I have been pretty lucky, just tired and naseau. I almost got sick in the car today.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Troll doll size. Has my hair already
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We found out it's a boy (woohoo) so I'm going to start pulling out all of DS's baby clothes and piece through what will work for that time of year. He was summer baby, this one will need more newborn winter gear.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Just a bump. Round ligament pain is stepping up hardcore. I can't get up super fast anymore without pissing it off. Ouch.
When is your next appointment? End of June. Have a routine Cardiology appt this week to make sure my heart is doing well.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Mutual friends. We dated a few weeks, broke up because I wanted a bad boy, we were very different. Stayed best friends and 4 years later we went out dancing one night and he looked quite different to me. We hooked up, moved in together 4 months later and got married 2 years later. 7 years later we had our son ♥
What's new with baby (size, development)? Plum (I believe)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Embrassing that my stomach is going to get bigger and to stop being so insecure about it
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: rant- ate some under cooked oysters. Rave- the craving for oysters is 110% gone. Symptoms- gas and huge amount of painful bloat. Questions- how to get rid of the gas.
When is your next appointment? I'm still waiting for a Doc. I might have to wait another few weeks
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Online
He knew when I changed jobs and when I was having a bad day. So finally after the 18 months we met and I swear, it sounds so cliche, but I 100% fell in love. It hasn't always been easy but holy hell do I ever love him. I'm so thankful for every guy who ever did me wrong and broke my heart.
What's new with baby (size, development)? Starting to grow proportionately and learning new motor skills!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We find out this week (hopefully) if it is a girl or boy so that is exciting! We came up with a plan to reveal to the rest of the family.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: MS was the worst last week. I'm really hoping and praying that it gives me a little break this week but we will see. If I am not in bed by 8:30pm I am puking so I need to be better about that.
When is your next appointment? Will get a follow up call from genetics this week hopefully, and if all is well then my next appt will be 5/31.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met in Jr High. My best friend was dating his best friend so naturally we were forced to hang out and completely fell in love. Dated through high school and got married when I was in college. We have been married for 6 years now, together for 13 (I think?)!
Week: 14
What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a peach. Thumb sucking and wiggling his/her little toes. Can't wait until I can feel the baby moving
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Not really much of anything yet. We don't know the gender yet, but once we do we can go through DS's clothes (thankfully some boy clothes could still be used for a DD) and start getting the baby's room ready.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Had a terrible sore throat/cold that lasted all last week. Still trying to get over it but at least my throat isn't killing me anymore and I'm back at work.
When is your next appointment? Can't remember when my next dr appointment is. Probably in two weeks because I just saw her last week. My ultrasound is scheduled for June 27 - when we'll get to see our little peanut and find out the gender, so I can't wait for that.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We worked together at a building supplies store. He tried to date me multiple times, but I wasn't interested in anything more than a friendship after just getting out of another relationship. Finally agreed to go out with him and fell head over heals. ♥ We've been together for 10 years now; married for 5; and had our son 3.5 years ago. We complete each other perfectly. I couldn't ask for a better man.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of an orange
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Not much yet. Just trying to organize my house/make space. We'll need to clear out our guest room for this LO's nursery, so I'm slowing working on that.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Round ligament pain hardcore, especially since I am constantly picking up DS and bending down while holding him. Definitely have a noticeable bump now, several strangers have already asked me when I'm due, etc.
When is your next appointment? The first week of June — too far away!
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met on a camping trip with mutual friends. I was attracted to him immediately and we starting flirting right away ... but after several hours of drinking around the campfire I totally embarrassed myself by falling backwards out of my chair! Luckily that didn't scare him off and we've been together ever since
