Anyone having sharp pains in their vagina?I think it is referred to as lightning crotch? I've had it periodically before, just every once in a while but today I have had it a lot. Is this normal at 27w 4d or should I be concerned? Could being very constipated have anything to do with it?
Re: Vaginal Pain
The other is from my pelvis separating (known as SPD or PGP) - it feels like a bad bruise right at my crotch area (ie: where your pelvis bones meet in the front). This pain is much worse and more constant. I can feel it when I walk and when I have to lift one leg separately from the other (getting into the bathtub, putting on pants, turning over in bed etc). Rest helps, lifting my toddler or any sort of exertion makes it worse. I had it during my last pregnancy too. I'm told that it is ok for baby, but it is very uncomfortable to the point where it is the deciding factor for me that I likely won't try to have a third baby.

Anyway, I'm so glad you shared. I'll be letting my OB know this week and see what she has to say. Although with the bed rest I'm assuming this was brought on by DS flipping (now head down) and there isn't anything I can really do at this point.
