Symptoms/raves/rants? Had some real contractions on Monday that didn't progress into anything. Pretty sure I have a mild case of PUPPPs that wakes me up during the night. I thought for a while it was just my stretch marks itching, but there is definitely a rash so I've been trying to figure out something that helps with the itching. I'm really glad it's a mild case and not as bad as I've heard it can get. Waking up about every 2 hours to pee at night, but I did have a solid 5 hour stretch this morning that was glorious! All our pre-baby to do's are done so we're just waiting for her to decide to make her appearance now!
Appointment update? Next on Wednesday the 18th
Questions for the group?
How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? I think him knowing I had real contractions on Monday freaked him out a little bit, because he finally got all the small tasks I've needed him to do done. Other than that he's pretty calm, but he usually is a calm dude. It'll be interesting to see how he handles me being in labor, the birth of our daughter & being a dad.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Rave: I've been trying to write most of my dissertation before baby is born, but haven't made much progress (partly due to factors beyond my control). I finally decided to just let it go, and I emailed my advisor and committee members and basically said "enjoy your summer, talk to you when my maternity leave is done!"
It's a HUGE weight off my shoulders.
My other big rave is that I had my last day in the office on Tuesday, and am working from home for the rest of my pregnancy, and also will be working exclusively from home for awhile after coming back from leave. It's nice not having to commute, and being able to sleep in a bit!
No symptoms suggesting that labor is coming soon.
Appointment update? Routine appointment on Monday

How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? Good, I think he's more ready than I am! Although he's forbidding me from going into labor on the 18th, since there's a soccer game on TV he wants to watch. Sorry honey, that's up to baby, not me!
Symptoms/raves/rants? Leg cramps have reached a new level, but only 3 more sleeps left (rave) and then I will have my boy!
Appointment update? Had one on Thursday (final one) and all is well. Baby is a good weight (3.2kg - 7 pounds I think).
How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? He is doing well. He is singing as we speak whilst playing his DOOM game. Haha. Chop. He is so ready for his 'homie' to come, he is going to be such a great daddy.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Lots of cramping, ribs are still killing me, and tired.
Rant- I want to finish the last bit of nesting but everything I want to do would hurt so bad I can't do it. My husband has to work so he can't do it either. So all I can do is look at what I want to do an be frustrated!
Rave- I made it through the most difficult chapter for Algegra II so the baby can seriously come anytime because they can handle the remaining material without me.
Appointment update? Another one Monday. They told me last time checks are optional and they hurt me but my curiosity outweighs the pain. Lol
Questions for the group? Does anyone else have to wait for someone to pick up their toddler before they can leave for the hospital? Very nervous about this.
How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? He has been super helpful. He has taken over baths and bedtime for our toddler because I have been in so much pain.
Symptoms/raves/rants?
Raves: still pregnant and feeling pretty good! I am thankful I haven't been been having any symptoms of false/early labor, but know this could catch up with me in a couple weeks of there is still no progression!
Rant: I still have pretty bad swelling and my knee feels pretty painful occasionally. I am just trying to take things slow and not fall!
Appointment update? No progress last week, next appointment is the 18th at 39+3.
Questions for the group?
How is is your SO/DH doing these final weeks/days? His "nesting" has gone into overdrive.. Our lawn and flowerbeds look better than they ever have and now he's installing a bunch of plywood in the attic so we can organize all of the stuff we want to store. Granted, I hear a lot of cursing, so I'll just stay put on the couch with my feet up.

Week/fruit: 40/no fruit, just human
Rants/raves/symptoms: Heartburn, lightening crotch, and completely insane insomnia (which I didn't experience with my first). Also, to sound like a spoiled brat, I keep seeing birth announcements on facebook, and I am just OVER it. I want MY BABY! Sorry. That sounds bratty, but I would just like to go into labor.
Upcoming appts: Last Monday (39 weeks), my OB said would be my last. However, they didn't schedule an induction bc of how busy they are, and I did not want to go two weeks without a check-up. I am thinking they are going to try to get me an induction date at the end of the week, but I called and asked to come in on Monday. Sorry, not sorry.
GTKY: Husband is amazing, and actually graduated from grad school today. So, in conclusion, I am so thankful I didn't go into labor earlier than 5 minutes ago. But now, I am ready.
Questions: This baby movement is insane. The music/sound at graduation was extremely loud, and my stomach was literally moving all over the place. My mom has some major anxiety and told me I could go get it checked out, but I was like the baby is not used to loud noise! Do you think I should of? Is that crazy, this baby is just sooooo active. I worry because of how active she is???
I started losing my plug last night at 1am! A little more this AM... I am keeping my fingers crossed I am one of those women who says they went into labor shortly after :-) T-minus 4 days uti I induction and I am hoping so badly he comes on his own!!
Appt update: I have to go twice a week for an NST due to high blood pressure. On Friday LO wasn't moving as much as he should (which I think was just coincidentally his nap time) so we were sent to the hospital for monitoring for the 7th time in less than a month. It's so frustrating to go so often but I would much rather do that and know he's safe!! Another appt tomorrow and that will be the last before induction on Thursday! Aahhh!!
DH is doing good! We have had everything done for a couple weeks now- repeatedly being sent to the hospital saying you MIGHT have the baby today definitely kicks nesting into high gear- so we are both taking it easy! This is our last weekend without LO so we went to dinner last night :-) today we will be doing some light cleaning. DH seems so ready, I'm so excited for him to meet LO ❤️❤️
