First girls weekend with my mom, sisters, and niece. Pool was cold but played games in the hotel room. Bridal gown shopping for sis in the am.

CD1 started a few hours ago with the vengeance of a thousand AFs. I am currently lying (laying?) on a heating pad and wanting a slice of nation's apple pie and a margarita, neither of which is currently in my house.

@meilay I'm sorry about CD 1. AF stinks.

Had a date night with DH last night which included drinks with coworkers for a going away party, then dinner with DH. We came home and watched Deadpool but we were both tired so we only made it half way through. Today we are picking up DD at some point from my SIL's house and going to my MIL's house tonight for my SIL's birthday. Tomorrow is my nephew's birthday party.

After several beautiful spring days which I was unable to enjoy because I worked inside all week, it is now the weekend and it's rainy and cold. The lower half of my face has completely broken out with the worst acne of my life and I don't want to be seen in public. But I don't get to stay home and hide because DH and I are getting our winter tires off this morning so I guess it's off to the stinky tire place for the next couple of hours.

I have an appropriate gif to represent my feelings but I can't upload since the stupid Android update.

@meilay If you get a margarita, I'll take one. I don't care that it's 8:30am.

DH is fixing a neighbors tractor today, so I'm going to finally use my Marshall's Home Goods gift cards from Christmas! I want to get some new floor mats for in front of our washer/dryer. And I want a curtain to cover the entrance to the laundryroom. I'm thinking a fabric shower curtain will work perfect!

I also used a Sephora gift card yesterday from Christmas. I always feel two ways about going into Sephora. I either leave feeling like an ugly troll, OR, I leave feeling like...those girls working there with the caked on makeup shouldn't be giving anyone makeup advice. Yesterday I felt like the troll. Plus being 5'2" and looking like I'm 20 always makes me feel inferior to other women.

@meilay Sorry about AF - I was there a few days ago.

So. Much. Pain. Still have cramps but they're lessening slowly. Margaritas sound amazing - I may have one today!

@mrsdaddario I feel the same way about sephora! I love it there. But every time I walk in, I'm suddenly super self concious about my eyebrows.

Well, besides cleaning and laundry - not much to do other than grading 50 video projects my students did last week. Sigh. I guess its better than grading research papers.

It's looking like it's going to be beautiful weather this weekend. Today I'm heading out to visit some family. They're staying at an acerage and I'm taking my 2 dogs! It should be a fun afternoon with family & watching my pups run around and play

Tomorrow I have a babyshower to attend. It's a Mexican theme so I'm trying to find the perfect dish to bring. I love Mexican food.

I'm right there with you! I went to church with my mom and grandmother last Sunday, and a lady there definitely asked me which high school I go to. lol.

Thank you ladies! I didn't get my margarita but DH made me an orange creamsicle type drink. It was really good. Today I'm hoping to lounge around the house but if I put my garden off any longer I won't be getting anything until September so I really need to have that done today.

@MelissaM090 We had really nice sunny weather all during the work week too...and now today, it's pouring down rain.

@mrsdaddario I really like looking around in Sephora, but I totally feel judged every time I go there. I feel like everyone's wondering why this girl with sweaty gym hair and day-old makeup is showing her face in that store. That's why I love Birchbox! haha

My H's 30th birthday is tomorrow! I was planning on making him a really nice dinner, but I am really not in the mood to cook something extravagant so I think I'm just going to take him out to a restaurant instead. Hopefully that doesn't make me a crappy wife.

@Lecool That doesn't make you a bad wife. He will probably just love spending time with you. I won't tell you what I did for my DH for his 30th. It was exhausting planning it but he loved it so it was completely worth it.

@Lecool I had all intentions of throwing my H a dirty thirty party but I was down and out with a back injury the month before his birthday month and I lost all motivation I felt bad too.. but honestly he didn't mind at all... he didn't bring it up at least. So I think you'll be ok!! I think he will love going out! That's more than I did, I had his mom cook him dinner haha

DH's 30th was in December. Totally thought about doing something really awesome, renting a hall, inviting all our family and friends, maybe have some live music...
In the end we just had a few close friends over for dinner and it was still nice and he didn't seem to be missing out on anything! Give that man an ice cream cake and he's happy for days!

@mrsdaddario @pretzel2plus1 I looked like I was in high school right up until I was about 30. It drove me nuts. Somehow in the last couple of years, I feel like I've aged a bunch... but I still get IDed everywhere we go. I've officially reached the stage where I love looking young. Stick it out - eventually you'll be glad for it!

The Bump update yesterday pissed me off. I had an hour window to bump and post... and it wouldn't let me. Very frustrating.

@mrsdaddario @pretzel2plus1 @MonaLisaRalphio Never feel like you're inferior to other women! Especially not because you look good/young! Why is young something we dislike and then spend the rest of our life trying to look young again. It makes no sense. I look a little young... not a ton. But a girl I went to high school with carded me at the liquor store the other day. It's 50/50 now if I get carded. So I understand, just maybe not to that extreme.

When I dove off the deep end last night and read every Pinterest pin, blog post and website about fertilization and implantation and pregnancy tests and symptoms and just way to much other crap I encountered some C-R-A-Z-Y. These women were literally saying they were 3dpo and wanted to know if their pregnancy test was positive. And some people were saying it might be. They were all, I know it's early, but I am really thinking this is my month. Check out this negative pregnancy test and tell me if I am having a boy or a girl. My jaw hit the floor. I love all of you soooooooooo much!!! I will never take you for granted again!!!!

@lecool & @aammyy33 The H and I were at the mall just walking around last night and HE brought up his 30th birthday unsolicited! It was like he was reading my bump posts.. and he said "you know I don't hold it against you that you didn't throw me a dirty thirty party right?" I was like What??!! He's was then like "I'm going to throw you one." I wanted to hide somewhere and NOT have this conversation.. I told him not to. I feel bad now, especially because I didn't think he even noticed! man.. I may take back what I said before!

My in-laws just left my house after a two week long stay. I just got up off of my living room floor where I laid for twenty minutes and enjoyed the quiet.
