Updated! : NBR - Help me choose a web address!

So, in exciting non-baby related news, I've decided to start my own company!! :smiley: I stopped working my corporate, 24/7/365, constantly on-call job that I'd been at for the past 9yrs at the end of 2015 and have spent the last 5-6mths hanging out with my 2yo and 'finding myself' again after selling my soul to my job for so long. I love, love, love being home with my son, but it was never realistic for me not to ever work at all. DH is Incredibly supportive and desperately wanted me to leave the position I was in, I am very lucky. Now, it is time to take steps towards making the next move in my career!!
With that being said, I've been thinking about names and need to set up a professional email address - gmail.com won't cut it :wink: - as well as a website that I plan on working on developing throughout this pregnancy. Ideally it would have been ECC.com (first initial of my last name and services provided) but that is taken. The poll is for the options that are available - if you need more info before you vote, I'm happy to provide, just didn't want to go on and on about things no one but myself may be interested in :blush:

E-CC.co (would co be too hard to remember, mistakes be made as it's not com?)
E-CCC.com (adding a 3rd service that I intend on providing, all of which start with C, in order to get the .com)
JRECC.com (my initials first, maiden and married + the services provided - I was known professionally by my maiden name much longer than I have been by my married name)
JE-CC.com (initials first and married + services provided)

Thanks again for the feedback yesterday! I did it!! I have purchased my domain and set up my own professional email address :smiley:  I'm so excited! I went with what you guys said and did Lastnameccs.com. Now, I have no idea how to develop a website, so hopefully I'll be able to figure that out over the next 6 months, LOL

    What's your business?  I find initials to be hard to remember which is problematic for a web address.  Knowing the business might help us weigh in on suggestions.

    @DiFazette - sure thing!

     I am a LPC-S, a licensed professional counselor supervisor. The C's stand for Counseling and Consulting, with the optional 3rd C being Coaching.

    I picked the 3rd one, but I do agree that just initials are hard, but I also don't prefer .co or having the dash in there..also hard to remember.

    Yeah, the more I look at it I agree, I think a dash may be hard to remember :-/ I'm afraid JRECC is a lot of letters as well.... IDK. May be back to the drawing board

    Could you maybe do your first and last initial and then counseling and consulting? So, it would be JEcounselingandconsulting.com but maybe that's too long.. Idk I feel like it would be easier to remember though.

    So, upon looking further, also available are:

    E_____CC.com (E_____is last name spelled out)
    E_____CCS.com (E_____is last name spelled out, S for Services)
    JECCS.com

    As long as you don't have a last name that is hard to spell or hard to remember, I think both of the first 2 work and will be easier to remember.

    While it's not Smith or Jones, I don't think it's terribly difficult.... geez, this is harder than I thought it'd be! lol

    I agree with @doodleoodlesomething with counseling in the name. Most folk (like me) don't know what the acronym means.  It might make it more clear and of course the all important Google keyword search.  I'm just throwing shit out there.  I'm sure whatever you chose will be awesome.

    Thank you all for the feedback! I am going to think on it some more and see what I come up with. All of your thoughts are appreciated and valid, I'm just not sure what I want to do now. I'm afraid spelling everything out will be way too long.... Ah well, still fun and exciting to get started on it :smiley:
