What's up next: Ultrasound this week. Since my little guy was 92nd percentile in all measurements except his belly and breach I now have growth scans till then end to monitor him and how much room he has to turn
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I've been pretty achy by the end of the day and was having a rough time getting to sleep. Yesterday when we were finishing off buying what we need for the babe we bought more pillows for us. Last nights sleep was magical!
GTKY: Feeling him move. I could watch my belly move all night
What's up next?: Appointments, milestones, etc. Routine appointment today, need to remember to ask some random questions about delivery that I keep forgetting to ask at my appointments.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Tired and cranky this morning for no real reason. Trying to guzzle coffee and be civil to my eighth grade class right now until I hopefully wake up. On the plus side, only 2.5 more weeks of school. Symptoms are same as they have been, just achy and moving around is uncomfortable.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Other than having actually made it this far in the pregnancy and the joy and relief of that fact, I love feeling baby move. Especially now that I can really feel his feet and elbows from the outside. It's exciting to think I get to meet my son in just a few weeks!
ETA: I got a week ahead of myself and didn't realize it until my appointment this afternoon . Not 33+4...I blame pregnancy brain.

What's up next?: OB check-in in a few weeks (my practice doesn't start every 2 weeks until 32 weeks)
Rants/Raves/Symtoms: I am a hormonal mess. I cry at everything. Sciatica pain real bad.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? That there's a baby at the end. Pregnancy has really not been my thing mentally or physically and I am 99% sure we will be one and done.
What's up next?: Appontments, milestones, etc. Thursday is my last 4 week appt! Looking forward to every 2 weeks. We are also going to register at the hospital. Keep forgetting to do that!
Rants/Raves/Symtoms: I'm with megstervt on the hormonal mess. Such a cry baby these days! I can't help it!! Starting on the nursery picked up paint chips just need to decide on which color we are going to do! Crib arrives tomorrow....baby steps to getting it done.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Honestly, just like everyone else said. Feeling her move and making it this far. Just need her to keep on baking!
Me: 31 & Husband: 40 Married: November 2014
M/C: 8/27/2012 - EDD: 3/22/13
BFP:11/19/15 (4 days after our 1yr wedding anniversary!)
Our rainbow baby will be here 7/27/2016 (Arrived 8/2/2016)
What's up next?: Nothing really going on this week. Just doing our birthing classes!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Achiness is real. Everywhere. My body doesn't want to sleep for more than about 5-6 hours at a time, which is fine on weekends when I can use the afternoons to make up for it. But the work weeks are getting rough. Counting down until I'm out of this place for a while!!!
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? DEFINITELY the movement!!! It's the most reassuring thing in the world. It's getting a bit crazier now that baby is so much larger. I really feel like I can feel limbs and not just the little jabs I was initially getting.
What's up next?: Appontments, milestones, etc. Appt on Wednesday, baby shower on Sunday!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Everything hurts. Why does it feel like someone kicked me in the crotch with steel toe boots? Because that is not okay. The reflux/heartburn situation sucks. And I'm unbelievably tired, which is frustrating because I'm normally one to take on a ton of projects, spend whole days organizing stuff, moving furniture around, etc and it makes me feel so lazy and useless that I barely have the energy to move at all now.
My rave is that I'm getting pretty excited about my shower this weekend, but also nervous which is weird. I guess just because I haven't been feeling well and there will be a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time and I don't love being the center of attention. I wish my husband was going to be there but my mom wanted to do it more traditional, which is totally fine, he's just usually my buffer haha. I know it will be great, I just build these kind of things up too much in my mind I think.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Definitely the movement! I love feeling him jiving around in there, it makes me feel so in love with him already. Even when it's the middle of the night and it makes me a little crazy, it's still comforting. I can't wait to meet him but I am also having a little anxiety about him not being with me constantly and other people touching or holding him. Is that insane? Anyone else feeling like that?
@stellaluna14 I'm excited for other people to meet him but I'm a little anxious about letting him go too. I think I'm most nervous about them taking him right after birth at the hospital and that initial separation...that just seems like it will feel really weird and sad to me after never having him away from my body!

@stellaluna14 I definitely feel that way. In my more rational moments I've talked to DH about forcing me to practice leaving him starting around 7ish weeks. I'll be going back to work at 10 weeks and I know I'm going to be a disaster. If I've never left before it will be impossible. My MIL will probably watch him for those initial times; I love her and trust her completely, but I know I'm not going to want to do it. Makes me tear up just thinking about it.
What's next: midwife appt Friday. This is my last monthly appointment then we go to every other week. Eek! It's getting real!
R/R/S: rant, I gained like 9 POUNDS this last month. Holy $h!t! I know I haven't been awesome about my diet but COME ON! Insomnia, heartburn, constipation and sciatica are sucking the life out of me. Oh and this cold that's hung on for a month haha. @stellaluna14 LOL YES!!!!
GTKY: I love the movement. There are times that I really just haven't fully embraced that we are going to have another little one finally. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. So when he has his active times and I'm able to just sit and soak it up, it helps to put my mind at ease and really start to picture our home with our second baby boy in it.
@stellaluna14 I don't feel ready to share him yet but we do still have time. My husband is seriously chomping at the bit for the time to come though so I try to focus on that. It's taken so long to get to this point I think we both want to lock ourselves away with him
Thanks everyone, I'm glad it's not just me haha. I want my husband to get to meet him and hold him but sometimes I have actual nightmares about other people wanting to hold him and me not wanting to let go and freaking out about it. I need to get a grip, I'm sure it won't be so bad haha.
What's up next?: Appointments, milestones, etc. Appts every 2 weeks now, next one on 5/18
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I agree with everyone. I'm tired and I'm achy. I feel so huge and I think I'm waddling now. I am getting that 1st tri tiredness. Yesterday I just went to lunch for Mother's Day and then to the grocery store and I felt like I ran a marathon. Also having a hard time getting comfortable at night.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Definitely being able to feel our baby kick because it feels so real @stellaluna14 totally feel you on that too. I love that its just he and I and our special connection. I get nervous thinking about him in someone else's care.
Status Update: Weeks+Days: 32w2d - I don't trust TB equivalents anymore (squash, really? I guess it depends what kind of squash...)
What's up next?: Appointments, milestones, etc. Appt with OB on Thursday. Also just went to our whole day class/tour at the hospital yesterday. It was good, but I got a little overwhelmed with all of the information and videos. Definitely cried after watching videos of two women giving birth - hard to pinpoint what the emotions are - scared, also sad (I think it activated memories of loss as well...). And then all the prep for things going potentially wrong probably scared me more than other participants. But overall I kept it together it was still a good day, definitely made things feel more real.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Symptoms - Yes, feeling big and getting more uncomfortable to lay in bed even with my faithful snoogle. Also charley horses were back last week, taking a walk everyday seems really necessary... I have a bit of a bruise around my belly button, I'll ask about that at my appointment on Thursday. And feeling really short of breath all the time. Rant - My rant this week is about the sub at my prenatal yoga class this weekend, who totally led a "normal" yoga class: No I cannot transition between sitting/standing poses in less than 5 seconds! And do it 20 times in a row! No I cannot hold this pose for 5 minutes! It was frustrating because the class is usually pretty restorative and grounding, and this time around it was not. Still happy I went to stay active though.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Feeling those elbows and knees poking at me up high Watching DH getting excited reading books, making checklists, and calling the LO by all kinds of nicknames already
@Serpica The nicknames! My husband has so many for him and I just love it. He comes up with parody songs about our dogs all the time and has started doing it for the baby too. It's so damn cute
@stellaluna14 my husband and I have decided we'll do a "no one except me and him (and medical staff obviously)" will hold the baby the first 48h. I have been reading about how babies who are pass around visitors have higher cortisol level (stress) and recover more slowly from the trauma of the birth even if they seem to be sleeping peacefully. After that we are only allowing grandparents to visit/hold the baby for the first 2weeks ish (and I might limit the time he's on people's arms) The rest of the family can wait. I know people are excited to meet our baby but they can wait a little longer and we'll be providing tons of pictures too. I know it won't make people happy but IDGAF
What's up next?: Appontments, milestones, etc. midwife appt Wednesday, blood flow check and NST with mfm on Thursday
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm just scared. I don't know if I updated here, but they said her belly isn't measuring along with the rest of her. Small chance it was just a bad measurement but now they are having me do blood flow checks and NSTs every week. Next week we do another growth scan. I knew things were going too smoothly.
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Movement.
@MamaBish Thinking so many positive things for you and your baby girl!! Extra Appointments can be a pain but I'm glad to hear they're paying such close attention. Prayers that it turns out to be nothing!!
What's up next?: I had an appointment / ultrasound a few days ago. Everything looked fine; baby was in the 42nd percentile. She had her arms/hands covering her face the entire time so we couldn't get a single picture.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Lots of BIG movement (obvious to anyone who is looking).
GTKY: What is your favorite part of pregnancy? Getting to experience an ample butt for the first time ever. Oh, and feeling the baby move! :-)
