How far along are you? 10 weeks

How big is baby? A few of the apps I have say kumquat - I don't even know what that is haha.

Appointments/Milestones? I have an appointment tomorrow that will include a lot of blood work and hopefully I'll get to hear the heartbeat.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Ugh bathroom issues - both constipation and hemorrhoids. I need some preparation h.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? I knit, quite a lot but don't finish as many things as I'd like to. I'm excited to start on baby knits! Blankets, hats, sweaters etc.

Since I'm back to measuring on track, and my due date changed, I'm in this group now.

How far along are you? 10 weeks

How big is baby? A poker chip, a golden snitch, or strawberry depending on what site.

Appointments/Milestones? We just had an u/s and appt yesterday. Our next appt should be within the next 2 weeks for our NCT scan. Since those are fairly new, we weren't offered one with our DD. I'm doing some research to find out what exactly it is.

Rants/Raves/Questions? It seems like I'm finally reaching the end of this nausea phase. I was nauseated all day long, and never threw up. Sometimes I think I would've felt better if I had thrown up.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? I love photography and making gift baskets.

How far along are you? 9 weeks according to LMP! (Our u/s Monday dated at 7w3d, but that would mean I tested + at 3DPO, which is impossible, so I am keeping me EDD pending our second u/s on the 25th.

How big is baby? A pecan/jack/cherry - depending on site. Although I guess he would be a small cherry since he is a little runt!

Appointments/Milestones? Our first ultrasound was Monday and it really made it real for DH who was smiling when we saw the heartbeat. We have our first dr. appointment today so I am ready for some positivity about the ultrasound issues above. Hopefully we get to hear the heartbeat!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm sick of morning sickness, which has lately turned to night sickness with blinding headaches. Yesterday I was only okay if I didn't have to move my head. Argh. If I am really a week behind that means I have 5 more weeks instead of 4 more weeks of the first trimester!

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? I love to read, play music, and used to love to draw. I am also always planning vacations. We are moving into a new house next week and just got my sewing machine back from my mother's house so I'm hoping to get back into sewing and actually be good at it this time. I am starting with curtains (the sellers are leaving their window treatments but they really have the WORST taste), and then will work on baby blankets and then try some clothes. Next week we will also be painting for three days, and it will take me a few months to properly decorate the house. Finally, I used to love to garden when we had our last house (we've been bumping around to three different apartments in the last four years), so I'm ready to get back into that. I am going to have a busy spring/summer I guess!

How big is baby? a LIME! heheh <3<3

Appointments/Milestones? Still awaiting our first ultrasound which is in two weeks for nuchal translucency (IPS testing). Meeting our OBGYN for the first time then as well. Once we get a confirmation that a baby is alive and kicking, we will share the news. I'm so jealous of all you ladies in the states who get ultrasounds/heartbeats early! This has felt like the longest wait of my life. UGH and still two weeks to go.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm showing a lot, it's almost unsettling (twins?), but I'm short with a small torso. It's a lot of fun though, I'll have a cute bump sooner than later! Right now it's like a teardrop shaped droop which I've been covering with loose shirts and unbuttoned pants.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? Piano, horseback riding (hunter/jumper/dressage), ballet, guitar, crochet. Nothing practical whatsoever. I don't know how I got into such obscure hobbies over the years.

ETA I guess crochet is practical, going to make baby a blanket!

@PrettyPalomino I've tried to crochet - I've even taken a class. I'm really bad at it, I have a half finished ripple blanket and that's about as good as I'm going to get haha.

How far along are you? 10 weeks!

How big is baby? a Strawberry @Mamax2 a snitch?! I love it!

Appointments/Milestones? No appointments until 5/25 when we have our NT ultrasound. I can't wait. We've had one at 6.5 weeks because my HCG dropped, but we saw the heartbeat then. Seeing that things are progressing will hopefully help me put some worry behind me.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I just keep going to the crazy "something's wrong" places in my head. Yesterday my symptoms were less than they had been, so of course that set me off. I'll feel so much better after we have the U/S on the 25th. Someone said on another forum they would have had a pretty easy pregnancy if they hadn't been crazy worried 99% of the time. Yep. A mushy rave: my husband has been an absolute champ about everything so far, from putting up with my crazy to doing extra chores because I am tired. This whole experience is making me love and appreciate him so much more.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? Anything outside. I really like running and kayaking and now that we live somewhere with more accessible trails, hiking and snowshoeing in the winter. I really enjoy gardening too. Our new house has a couple raised beds, so i am looking forward to starting veggies soon.

How big is baby? a lime!

Appointments/Milestones? I had an appointment on Monday and we heard the heartbeat on Doppler! They also drew a bunch of lab work. I go in for my NT scan this coming Monday. I'm so excited to see baby but nervous/hoping the testing comes back ok.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Still feeling super hungry and sick at times. Acne just won't clear. Second trimester, you are so close!

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? I love photography. @Amdogger82 - I can't wait until we buy a house so that I can have gardens again! I used to garden a lot as a kid.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? I don't think I do....I have a ton of things I love to do, but don't think they qualify as a hobby. My BF and I just got kayaks, maybe going out on the water will be a new one!!

@karmba a kumquat is a small citrus fruit that is very tart and you eat with the skin on. It looks like this:

How far along are you? According to O I am 11w. If I go by the US from yesterday I am 11w3. But I am not leaving my DEC '16 peeps.

How big is baby? LIME!!

Appointments/Milestones? Just had my 1st of 3 USs yesterday. 1 LO in the correct place, several days ahead on growth, and my C section scar on the ute is looking good, so I can try for a VBaC.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I received papers from my OB practice on what size of payments I have to make, and its only $80 a month until birth for my portion. That is about 1/3 of what my insurance's online estimator said.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? Horses, cows, sheep, goats, basically helping raise any and all common livestock. I used to train horses for cutting when I had time. I knit, crochet, quilt, love to cook dutch oven foods, bake anything sweet or bread, I read a great deal (a novel a week), and I have started to make up little songs about whatever L is doing.

Appointments/Milestones? A week from tomorrow I get to see my baby for the first time!!!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I guess my only rant is that they're seeing me this late, knowing FI has a genetic condition that will require us to have testing so I'll likely have to come back again soon for that. I would've rather had an 8-9 week US and then come back at 11-12 for the testing.

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? FI and I are very outdoorsy, we love road trips, camping, and hiking. On my own, I love Pinteresting, reading, and going to happy hour at Sonic

@PrettyPalomino Ooo, good to know about the showing. I'm 5'4" with a short torso and expect to be all belly because of it.

How big is baby? Blueberry

Appointments/Milestones? I did have a consult with the midwife on Monday, which went superb. Now all I've got to do is look over the practice guidelines she sent me and I guess hire her? I won't get an actual appointment until around 10 weeks though. Considering going on base just so I can confirm the pregnancy and maybe get an ultrasound for sharing! Ha.

Rants/Raves/Questions? None. Still hardly any trouble with MS. Just a bit of an icky feeling here and there, but I'm eating normally. I guess I should consider myself lucky, but it has me freaked!

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? I'm a writer, does that count? I also read a ton. And I enjoy food, haha.

9 weeks!

baby is a cherry!

my next appt is the 24 for our panel visit!

I have had 2 ocular migraines in the past 4 days. They leave me with a headache and completely wiped. I had to leave work early today. They are zero fun. :,(

I love running! It's my stress relief. I picked it up a lot when my Granny passed away from lung cancer and kept going. I completed my first marathon in Disney World in January and it was amazing! I've had to stop since I got pregnant, but I still want to complete the Dopey Challenge in 2018!

@karmba have you tried stool softeners? My dr. recommended taking Colace three times a day. I forget a lot!

@1MommyRunner I feel you with the headaches, they are horrible. I haven't tried running since I found out I was pregnant, even a zumba class has me totally wiped!

How big is baby? Brussel Sprout! or Lime....but dang that's a pretty big difference in size

Appointments/Milestones? Monday we go in for the NT scan! Nervous and excited

Rants/Raves/Questions? I really thought I'd start feeling better by now but man the end of the 1st trimester has been worse for me than the beginning

GTKY: Do you have any hobbies? If so - what? Does laying in bed watching TV count? LOL. I guess my *true* hobby that I had before DH is dancing. I did ballroom dancing and other types but DH is not a dancer and since moving to a new state I don't care for any of the dance establishments in my area. I do miss it and hope to someday get back to it.

@penelope4612 we're appt twins!! LOL! Our 1st NT scan is on Monday too.
