My baby dislikes rolling over and tummy time

My baby is 7 months and doesn't really care to roll over and will only do tummy time for a very little time. When she does she kicks and turns sideways as if to spin,  but then get frustrated. However, she loves to stand and has no problem sitting alone for quite a while.  She'll even recline and then use her little core muscles to sit back up for fun. I just want to know that she's not falling behind developmentally because she doesn't really seem interested in rolling over our crawling as much.

Same boat here honestly couldn't tell you. Waiting to talk to the pediatrician at her 9 month check up.
Sits very well and I'm confident leaving her sitting. Stands well and can stand holding on to furniture (doesn't pull up to stand though).

I've given up on the idea of her crawling and thinking she may just skip it. She has rolled both ways but it's not something she's interested in doing and hasn't rolled in a while.

i try to increase her floor time but it's hard when she's so easily frustrated on her belly.

She'll be 9 months next week so I thought she would be more mobile by now. All she does is shuffle backwards (doesn't get far) and spins around in a circle.

  • DD was the same way up until 2 weeks ago. She loved sitting and playing but didn't tolerate being on her tummy. When she would be on her tummy she didn't try to rock or crawl. She could also sit up on her own. Two weeks ago I was folding laundry and she just crawled over to me. I was in shock. I was really starting to worry but turns out she was just fine. Now she can't be stopped!
