you just have to click the image icon at the top (the one that looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded down, next to the one that looks like a chain for hyperlink) and paste the URL into the bottom part where it says "Image URL"
Well it's working on my laptop but still can't get it to work on my iPhone.
It's definitely trickier, but possible. Sometimes you have to be patient. I have had it not work and I try it three times and then suddenly have the gif three times in the post...
