When did you start trying....

after a d&c to conceive? My doc mentioned after 2 period cycles....

    Hello. We waited for 2 cycles. 

    It also depends whether you feel emotionally ready to try again.

    I got pregnant with my rainbow baby (now a happy and healthy 4 year old) two weeks after my d&c. Not necessarily recommended but that's how it happened for us. P

    I was told to wait 2-3 cycles (I had two d&cs because I had retained tissue) 

    I started trying after two and got pregnant the second month

    Got pregnant the night the doc gave us the okay to try again after (i also had 2 d&c).  30 days post

    I didn't have a d&c but we used protection for about 2 cycles and then we stopped, but we weren't really ttc. Then we actively started ttc in February of this year. 
    So... In total.. We waited about 6 months to start, but conceived after about 2 cycles of trying. 
    We waited so long because of how scared we  were of having the same thing happen again and the truth is that DH and I (mostly me ;) ) are absolutely terrified right now. But, every day is a blessing and I try to be thankful for that.
