  Thank you for starting this!  DD and new baby will be 22-23 months apart.
  
  I'm hoping we can have DD potty trained before baby comes, but I don't want to push her if she isn't ready.  She's showing lots of readiness signs and has used her own potty a few times.  At this point I'm just waiting for the right time to try the 3-day method.  We have a book all about having a new baby at home, but she's not really interested in it yet.  Looking forward to hearing what other STMs+ are doing!

  i tell my step son he is going to be a big brother and he is pretty excited about having a lil sissy he says, i know my hands will be full, i told him what would he like to do when he first sees her and he said he wants to feed her and hold her. I let him touch my belly and his felt her kick as well as he went to one of my doc appts where we just heard her heart beat. He is going to be one protective big brother his only 4yrs old. He told the doctor he needed to be careful of what he did because that was his sister lol as well as my nephew whom is the same age kissed my belly and he got defensive about it and said he could not kiss her but of course i had to jump in and said it was ok an my 5yr old nephew told him "it is ok to kiss her you can do it too just like us." The only thing i am scared of is he won't be getting all the attention anymore he will have to share it and he is not good at that. His got all the attention these past couple years and so will see how it goes.
