Baby toys

Just for fun I thought we could share what toy your little one favours, if any. my little girl lovesssss her monkey stuffed animal. The legs crinkle and the head rattles and theres two rings on the bottom of the feet. She gets super pumped when she sees it. I'm debating going to buy another one in case we loose it or leave it somewhere. It stops her from crying and she falls asleep on walks with it. It's adorable!

My son was given a elephant "security blanket".. a little square blanket with an elephant head. He loves that thing anytime he is in the car seat! I picked up a vtech steering wheel toy from consignment that he also loves to play with in the pack n play

  • Griffin loves his O Ball, ball with little rattles in it. Also, his taggie blanket and crinkle giraffe. The giraffes feet are teething toys and his neck crinkles, it's by Bright Stars. He also has a NUK teether with circus animals on it and other needs and textures to chew on.

We have that same bright stars giraffe.  It's pretty popular with our LO as well

I used my registry rewards gift card to buy the fisher price step and play piano activity center thing... Skeptical because it's expensive but he LOVES IT. I have never seen him so excited by a toy. I would definitely buy again even without the gift card!
  • LO loves a rag. He will go bonkers for a simple rag ( makes bath time difficult) but other than that any light up toy he loves.
I buy baby Einstein toys and those he loves.

For us, it's the burp cloth. She loves the ones with bolder prints, and will carefully inspect them. She also likes basic plastic links, although, if I give her more than two in a chain, she gets overwhelmed. She's been checking out Sophie the giraffe, but it's a little big for her to control just yet.

Mommy's shirt is a big hit with DS.  The last few days it's been a struggle to get it out of his mouth long enough to nurse him.
  • Bennett loves his Sophie giraffe and burp rags/bibs. Anything he can put in his mouth at this point!
  • We don't use many toys... just a few stuffed animals and a few teething type toys / take along toys. Is that bad? Eek!

@kimber308 Our LO isn't really interested in toys other than the ones that hang from her activity mat, so we just have a few rattles and toys with different textures/colors. We know that she'll eventually become interested in them. She would rather look at the dog, outside (we have a huge sliding glass door), at me or her daddy, etc. Right now she loves to grab and play with anything cloth (burp cloths, receiving blankets, Mommy and Daddy's clothes). She also loves to grab and pull my hair.

ETA that anything for them at this point is a toy :)

We don't have a ton of toys. She loves the dangly ones on the play mat and when we play with her on the floor we show he a few others but nothing crazy. Her stuffed monkey thing just seems to be a hit. Especially when shes in the car

My LO doesn't have a huge interest in toys just yet. She does love the kick and play piano and the things that hang down. We read a lot of books and she loves to look at the words. The best thing has been this monkey that has a black and white and red hanging squares that I have hung from the mirror on the back seat in the car. She loves to look at it. That and the portable soundspa have made car rides bearable!
  • Yeah nothing fancy for us either. She likes our clothes, her tag rag, but mostly her cats and being outside

We have a crinkle book that DD loves! It has about 4 "pages" with lots of colors. The best part is that she can grab it easily and it makes the great crinkle noises.
  • Boo, the new app won't let me upload a picture. Brynlee loves the Oball, the bright stars rattle, any sort of taggie or cloth, and she is a huge fan of the Oball activity gym. She also likes crinkly fabric books. I have one hanging from the bar on her play mat and she loves it.

Jamie likes to clutch his dragon paci holder... he doesn't suck on his paci, just the dragon! He always has this with him in the car seat. He also likes his Clip Clop activity horse and he adores his mirror, he stares at it for ages and tries to interact with the baby!
He plays lots with the toys hanging in his Skip Hop Treetops activity gym but I'm trying to find a couple other good hanging toys to mix it up.

  • Outsmarted the app! Ha! She loves her rattle.
  • She loves her play gym and any sort of rattle she can grab and put in her mouth

Yes! This - exactly! Our LO is so interested in the world around her, as well as Dad and Mom. Also things like burp clothes and random things. She also likes to practice standing and rolling and stuff like that, so there just isn't a ton of time right now. I'm hoping this summer I can get her interested in a few toys.
