"Any day now" is what I've heard from my OB for the past few weeks. At first, it made me hopeful, but now it's getting a little annoying. I understand that there's no way to predict how long it will be and that eventually it'll be true, but it seems like the line is used pretty loosely by our OBs.
Anyone else in the same boat?

I can go up until 42 weeks before they induce. I'm very "let nature take it's course" mentality but I can't imagine 3 more weeks of this discomfort.
So even if it turns out her prediction will be wrong and I'll be stuck like this to my due date or beyond, I'm just putting my fingers in my ears and going LA LA LA because I do not want to know. Let me have my blind faith in that guess, it's all that's keeping me sane right now.
leave it to DH to be sure about the due date.
I'm an anxious FTM, 39 weeks, full term.
MY BODY IS READY! Come out little buddy!
I just nonchalantly say any day now yup. It really will be because we don't know 100%.
Now I'm taunting the contractions "you bitch ass contractions ain't gonna do shit, little punks need to step up. Tired of this weak shit!"
My poor husband just ignores the crazy and tries not to poke the bear.
Well, still here and pregnant nearly 24 hours later after running normal errands and taking my pup on an hour walk last night.
DH was pissed. He's nearly as tired of this as I am. No more false hope!!!
I have a friend that walked around at 4cm for a month before she delivered. I was 3cm for 3 weeks with my last, and my sil has gotten to advanced dilation (past 5) and stalls for a week with several of her 8 kids.
