reintroduction/ IVF newbie

Hello ladies,

I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself. I was very active in this group in the Fall but have since been on a break from the boards and from TTC. My husband and I have been TTC since August 2013 and fall in the unexplained infertility category. I've had two D&Cs to remove a polyp, have tried one round of just clomid, and 3 failed medicated IUIs. All blood work, tests, and procedures yield excellent numbers and everything is within normal limits; however, it's just not happening. We met with an RE in November to discuss IVF and have been saving up ever since. We've had our orientation and I will start birth control after my upcoming period. I will start injections in July. I am nervous, excited, and a million other emotions all at the same time! I would love to hear words of wisdom or tips from ladies who have already been there. I am thinking of purchasing "buzzy" (https://buzzyhelps.com/). Has anyone every used it?

Good luck on your IVF journey! I've never heard of Buzzy before - looks cool. I'll have to do some more research on it!

Good luck with your journey! I would recommend posting on the June/July ivf board as well...ladies here are a great support group as you likely know! Btw buzzy looks great...wish I'd had it for my shots! What a cool idea!

Hi there. IVF can be an overwhelming process, but you'll get the hang of it soon. This board is filled with lots of support, insight and information. The ladies I've gotten to know here are wonderful and will answer any of your ivf questions. It's not as scary as it seems. I also recommend joining one of the monthly ivf/fet groups, it's great to share this journey with others who are in the same boat as you. Good luck with your cycle and I hope it'll be successful for you!
