Symptom Check-In | 5.9

*Question* Do we still want to continue this thread? It seems like the further along we all are, the less we have to talk about. If we still want this thread, should we change it into a monthly thing?

If you want to talk/ask about any symptom or non-symptom please use this weekly thread to do so. You do not have to use this format, it is just there as a guide.

Doesn't seem like we are still using this. I think everyone is either feeling better, or they don't want to keep repeating themselves. Plus, we have a few specific symptom threads that just kind of happened.
This is cool! I feel like it means we're moving along?

I agree that we probably don't need the thread anymore.  There haven't been a ton of individual symptom threads recently, so maybe we are far enough that people can just post when they want to.

That being said, I have a symptom now to talk about.  I am 12w 2d.  And I just need to rant that I have a terrible taste in my mouth all the time.  It's so gross.  I keep brushing my teeth, and then I end up eating to try and make it go away (even though it always comes right back).  Anyone else have this?  Any solutions?

I know some people were talking about this early on. There is a name for it, I just don't recall what that is.

  • There was talk early on about your tongue being white and having a bad taste. Someone said it sounded like thrush. I had a constant bad taste for a few weeks, it's gotten better but I asked my doctor and she looked and said mine was definitely not thrush. I think I was actually just dehydrated.

I've been drinking so much water.  Not sure it's possible that I'm dehydrated.  But it's good to hear that it doesn't mean I must have thrush!

  • Is anyone starting to get headaches?  I think I also saw a few posts on being lightheaded/dizzy.

I work as an engineer on a construction site, so I'm usually at a desk  (or in meetings), but during a walk on the site today I got a bit lightheaded to the point where I needed to sit down.  I've told my managers and my field guys (and my OB) for safety reasons, but I don't want to appear "weak" on the job.
