What's new with baby (size, development)? According to Ovia baby is the size of a troll doll.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby?
Finally reviewing financials to put together our initial plan for upcoming costs. Also starting to do reviews for big items. Continuing to clean house.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
Rant: It all still doesn't feel real for some reason. I have the syptoms, seen the u/s, and heard the heartbeat. I feel like I'm watching someone else though.
When is your next appointment? 6/2 ob, 6/6 u/s
GTKY: What's your favorite sport to watch in the Summer Olympics?
White water Kayaking! I started getting into it when I was living in Boston, so much fun and excitement. I love the tricks they can do.

What's new with baby (size, development)? A plum or a macaroon (yummmmm!)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Decided on a pink flamingos nursery theme of its a girl.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm EXHAUSTED. I worked a wedding yesterday and definitely over-did it. My entire boy hurts and I only got 4 hrs of sleep.
When is your next appointment?
Going in for my Panorama blood draw tomorrow. Appointment on Friday.
GTKY: What's your favorite sport to watch in the Summer Olympics? Gymnastics or swimming. Or volleyball. Or diving. The summer olympics are so much more fun IMO.
Week: 14! I'm still not 100% certain whether the second trimester started last week or this week, but either way, I'm there!
What's new with baby (size, development)? According to babysizer, it's now the size of an 8 oz filet mignon.....which depending on my mood is either exciting or gross to compare by future child to a steak. DH, likes it, though and wants filet mignon for dinner to celebrate (or perhaps, he's using it as an excuse to buy expensive meat. haha)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? My friend has a 3-month-old, so for her birthday this week, we got her a gift card to a restaurant and an offer to babysit. We're hoping she takes us up on it and we can basically use her baby as practice. Does that count as preparing? As a side note, DH mentioned that he wants to invite my parents over if we do end up babysitting so that there's at least a couple people who know what they're doing. Clearly we're ready for this....
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm feeling great. Except, sneezing really freaking hurts. I know it's just round ligament pain, but it needs to stop.
When is your next appointment? Friday!
GTKY: What's your favorite sport to watch in the Summer Olympics? Anything but track and field and weightlifting. If I had to choose just one, I'd say probably gymnastics.

What's new with baby (size, development)? A lime. Fingers and toes aren't webbed anymore! And tooth buds and nail beds are forming.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? I flew home this weekend and got a lot done with my husband. Bigger thing is that we went and test drove strollers. That was overwhelming.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I think I will wait to really rant about this in full detail, but in short, we surprised my side of the family with an announcement on Friday. My sister recorded it and within seconds, posted it to Facebook and declared she was going to be an aunt. She said I told her she could, but I don't know what I would have said that would have made her think that. We hadn't decided when how or even if we were going to announce on Facebook. Ugh. She also declared she would be in the delivery room. I think we need to work on our boundaries.

I guess swimming, diving and track and field.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We told my 4 year old yesterday. I was going to wait another month, but my belly is getting so big, and trying to hide it was hard, plus we were out just the 4 of us (today we're spending with the Grandmas). She was much more excited and interested than I expected - it was super fun :-)
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions : I got my results back from NIPT testing and baby looks perfect. We are waiting for a/s to find out the sex, but so happy and relieved that baby is healthy.
When is your next appointment?
Not for another 3 weeks or so.

What's new with baby (size, development)? baby has fingerprints. Starting to hiccup, apparently. I can't wait to feel them, I remember how sweet it was with my son. Even now he gets the hiccups and I stare at him all goofy. I think I always will
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Waiting on the results of the Verifi test we took last Monday. Hoping to find out this week. NT scan went very well, but you always feel better after more proof comes through. Also, the sex should be revealed!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: RLP can suck a fat one. I hate it. It scares the hell out of my husband when I'm doubled over, breathless and I have to explain to him it's just RLP, not anything with the baby. I feel for the guy.
When is your next appointment? Late June, Anatomy scan.
GTKY: What's your favorite sport to watch in the Summer Olympics? Gymnastics I suppose. I am definitely more of a Winter Olympics kind of girl.
What's new with baby (size, development)? size of a plum this week! Baby has fingernails and brain is developing more!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Not much yet. Still trying to clean out the spare room to turn into a nursery. I haven't been too motivated lately....
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I have been feeling a little better so far this week. Still exhausted though. Still having occasional spotting which I really wish would stop. My doctor confirmed it is coming from my overly sensitive cervix last week but I really wish it would just quit!
When is your next appointment? I have my NT scan on Tuesday. I'm hoping that I can beg for gender to be included in the blood draw, but we shall see!
GTKY: What's your favorite sport to watch in the Summer Olympics? I think I generally enjoy the winter olympics more. I do like watching swimming and diving quite a bit though.
Happy Mother's Day ladies! My woke me up with a kiss and told me Happy Mother's Day today which was really sweet!

What's new with baby (size, development)? Orange. Like a full sized orange, not one of those delicious teeny ones.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Trying to sell our house. No fun now, but worse with an infant I'm guessing.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: anyone else terrified of future fruit status? I'm ok with an orange ... But once we start talking watermelons and pumpkins, I might freak out.
