What's new with baby (size, development)? Per TB:
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? stocking up on diapers and wipes. We finally picked out a FN for a girl so now we're working on a MN. The nursery is cleaned out and the carpets have been shampooed so we're just waiting until we know the sex to start painting and decorating it.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: My heartburn now comes and goes which has been a nice relief. RLP is no fun.
When is your next appointment? 5/25
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? Either Taylor Hanson or Leonardo DiCaprio...not sure which was first.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Baby is the size of a lemon or, oddly, a jalapeno depending on what app you're using... Not sure how those are remotely similar buy okay.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Nothing yet. Waiting until we know if Baby K is a boy or girl!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: HUNGRY. Seriously hungry all the time. I've only gained 4 lbs so I have no idea where all this food is going.
When is your next appointment? Next Friday!
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? Prince William lol, he was so cute at 16! Now... Not so much.
What's new with baby (size, development)? Apparently the size of an arc reactor (Iron Man) - my husband would be so proud.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Haven't really started doing anything for baby number 2 yet - waiting on NIPT test results later this week or next due to an abnormal scan.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: We'll know sex of the baby with the test results, so we can really start working on baby names. So far DH and I can't see eye to eye on boy or girl names. Also, if it is a boy, I'll start going through all my DS's old stuff and washing/prepping for DS2. If it is a girl, I'll try to reuse as much as possible, but know I will be buying her some girly stuff because I can't resist the adorable accessories.
When is your next appointment? June 6th. Maybe earlier depending on test results.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? currently nothing lol. Biggest thing is getting DD#1 set up in her big room so when that's done in the next few weeks we will finally be able to focus on the nursery. Went through all my old maternity clothes and NOTHING fits anymore. Shopping spree in my future.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: feeling pretty good. Still tired, but thinking that is never going away.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Baby is as long as a peach! This makes me happy as a Georgia native. Perhaps some cobbler is called for tonight?
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Not much, really! A couple of people have shown interest in throwing me a shower, so I'll likely do some more registry research this week. We also announced the pregnancy on FB on Saturday. It was really heartwarming to see the response, especially on Mothers Day!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Baby must have gone through a growth spurt last week, because my belly definitely popped in the last few days! (The more I try to suck it in, the weirder it looks, so I'm just lettin' it poke, and it's glorious!) I feel like I can actually feel my skin stretching from the inside out... Kind of a weird feeling, but exciting too!
First trimester symptoms have mostly eased up. We were on a road trip the past six days, and other than a little queasiness here and there, I did fine. Of course now that we're back home I wake up this morning with a migraine and throw up my breakfast, but win some lose some I guess!
When is your next appointment? 5/26. At my appointment last Tuesday, I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time, and while we were listening we heard another noise, which my OB told me was a kick. It was so hard not to cry happy tears!!

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a lemon/jalapeno/clownfish/Matchbox car
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We finally told my family last weekend and I'm telling my work today. We also found out that we are having a girl, so we're going to get started with registering and getting the nursery ready. We're going to have a fairly early shower (early July probably) because my sister is due at the end of the summer and won't be able to travel after that.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I had a headache for 4 days straight last week and nothing helped. It finally went away yesterday morning and it was such a relief!

GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? Zac Hanson. My friend and I used to decorate the shed in her backyard with tons of pictures of the Hanson brothers and plan our weddings to them.
What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a brussels sprout or lime or bumblebee? Uh, those things are nowhere close to the same size.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Just trying to get through finals, that counts, right? Passing the semester means taking the NCLEX which means getting a nursing job which means making nurse money which means being able to afford baby.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: It makes me happy to see some people are in 2nd tri. It means it's coming soon for me, too.
When is your next appointment? Friday for genetic testing. I think I'll go ahead and schedule an NT scan as well even though they don't normally do both.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? We are moving in the next couple weeks so I'm starting to think about how the nursery should look in the new house.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Other than being a complete lazy bum and my boobs being massive, I think I've got it pretty good so I will not whine.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: my sleep SUCKS / No raves right now, everything annoys me... to try to be on the positive side, I am grateful that my pregnancy & baby seem to be doing well / I am so, so, so tired & fatigued / anyone have a good baby prep timeline to share? I don't know what I should be doing at this stage

Symptoms are finally subsiding, still gagging (dry heaving more like) when I brush my teeth which suuucks but even that's getting a little better.

Wednesday! Yay I'm praying for a heart beat with the doppler, I've been so anxious lately because there's no bump yet and no movement so *sigh* I worry too much

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? I "think" we are finding out this time. This will likely be our last and we were team green with both girls.

What's new with baby (size, development)? So many things! Baby now has facial expressions, is urinating, and is growing tiny hairs all over to him them warm:)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Starting to buy diapers here and there, we are decided on a boy name but still working through a few choices for a girl. We announced on FB on Sunday which was super fun!!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Feeling SO MUCH BETTER! I honestly feel like a new person. Maybe I did not actually realize how awful I felt until I feel better.
When is your next appointment? May 24th and then we are doing a 3d/4d ultrasound on the 25th to find out the sex of the baby! I can't wait!!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: thought I was past morning sickness since I did not get sick this weekend, but today it returned. Hopefully it was a sign that it is going to at least not be a daily occurrence. RAVE: H got me a Mother's Day card, flowers and a gift card for my "first" Mother's Day, I thought it was sweet.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? The boyfriend and I have not done much. We are waiting until our anatomy scan on June 15th (week20) to go straight to making a registry and setting up the nursery.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I am still going through symptoms and the 2nd tri isn't treating me much better. I don't have much of an appetite, and when I do, nothing seems appetizing to me. And when I do come around to eating, I do not feel great afterwards. I have not gained any weight yet, but I am popping out a bit. No one can really tell too much since Ive always had a little belly but I can tell. I also have a lot of phlegm which I have been drinking warm water with lemon and that helps.
When is your next appointment? My next visit is my monthly check up with my doctor on 5/24. The anatomy scan is scheduled for June 15th. Gender Reveal time!
