You're all on my mind. To all who have carried a child, whether delivered or not, I wish you peace and love on this day. I hope that you get to spend this day in whatever way you choose! xo 

Me: 40, DH: 35 / Married: 2009; TTC #1: 2013

2013 - 2015: 5 pregnancies —> 5 miscarriages

TTCAL with RE (RPL specialist): February 2016

2016: 3 medicated TI cycles —> 3 medicated IUI cycles: All BFN

Donor Egg IVF Transfer: May 1, 2017

May 11, 2017: BFP!! Beta #1: 449.1, Beta #2: 844, Beta #3: 1714

EDD: 1/17/18, it's a GIRL!  <3 E. L. A. born 12/7/2017

    Hugs to everyone....DH and I decided to stay at home, used my feelings to be productive outside doing yard work. It was good to keep me distracted. I wrote a little thing on fb today and seemed to get good responses....Stayed away from social media otherwise. We will all get through this together ❤

    I was doing well - tears today for different reasons - until I saw this beautiful post on FB from a friend. I copy it here because it is beautiful and touching.

    Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, moms-to-be, moms-who-have-been, fur-moms, those who are trying to be moms, and those who have wanted to be moms but for whom it just did not happen. The act of being a mom, maternal figure, and caring person is a choice and biology does not make you more or less of a mom. Today is a day to celebrate the special love women have and the efforts they make to improve the lives of those they care about. Yes, today is "mother's" day, but you really don't have to be a mom to be a person who shows love like a mom and who deserves to be appreciated for the kindness and care you give to others.

    For some reason it all hit me on Saturday. I spent the day running around buying food, buying gifts, and making food. Once the evening rolled around I really started to struggle with the impending Mother's Day. I'm not going to lie...I laid in bed watching the golden girls, drinking two glasses of wine, and eating Nutella out of the jar. Not one of my best moments.
