Ever since switching from BFing to bottle feeding, my baby girl will only take a 6 oz bottle in the morning & will only Drink 2-3oz of each bottle during the day. She eats baby food 4x a day & the doctor isn't concerned about her weight (even though she's on the small side). Anyone else's baby have an aversion to formula?
Re: Baby Doesn't Like Formula?
Either way, baby seems to be eating plenty, and not underweight like you said, so I wouldn't worry about it. I know there is a big push around here to not decrease Oz before the first year, but my pedi didn't necessarily agree with that. She told me something at my last appointment that made a lot of sense, when I had your same concerns... "isn't that the goal as they get older, for them to eat more food, and take less bottles?"
Sometimes it's easy to forget that all phases are fluid. It's not like lo is going to turn 1 and instantly eat a lot more and drop several bottles. Some will start before 1, some will continue past 1. As long as baby is happy and healthy, it's OK to follow their lead sometimes.
