Does your 7 month old suddenly want to nurse more?

My little one is 7 months and 1 week, and in the last week or so he has started to bend his head back and whine after a long, full feeding as if he wants to keep nursing. It seems to be more about comfort than not being full. Has anyone else experienced this with their baby at this age? Thanks!

    My little guy has been doing this for the last week or so. He will eat, be happy for a bit, and then fuss until I BF him again. Then he will just nurse and nurse and nurse. I have no clue what's going on, but am enjoying the extra cuddles. He's been fussier in general recently...so maybe a leap or growth spurt?!

    Mine too, it seemed to start just as his first tooth popped so I'm associating it with that. LO has never been a comfort nurser until the last two weeks!

    I haven't noticed it during the day but DS suddenly wants to comfort nurse every hour at night and nothing else will console him. I wonder if it is seperation anxiety related?
