How did your appointment go overall? Quick and easy. Got the first of my results from my genetic testing and NT scan (all is good).
Any ultrasound or doppler? Doppler, and a good, strong heartbeat. Baby also kicked the Doppler a few times!
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? The big thing at the moment for me is that we may be moving 2 hours away in June. I asked her about getting new prenatal care, if I would have to go through my family doc again (yes, which means I'll have to find a new family doc), and anything else I need to be concerned about. We commiserated about the housing market in the city and she was very helpful and supportive.

How did your appointment go overall? Short and sweet. Didn't even have to pay for parking since I was there for under 30 minutes.
Any ultrasound or doppler? Doppler, but this little guy was moving around so much that I only heard about four beats. That pretty much served the same purpose, though.
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Mostly unprompted, he told me that I would start having cramps while running much earlier this pregnancy, but that I should keep running anyway. Good to know now so I don't freak out later.
How far along are you? 17 weeks today - was 16w4d at appointment
How did your appointment go overall? uneventful
Any ultrasound or doppler? just doppler, which I find unimpressive since I have one of my own, but at least it took her a while to find the heartbeat too and she said it was normal at this point
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? sorta - she said my uterus was the appropriate size, and I had been worried the baby wasn't growing properly because I hadn't felt like I was getting any bigger, and she said the strep B was not a concern at all, but I still don't feel 100% safe about that
How did your appointment go overall? It was fine. It wasn't a planned visit so I had no sitter for my son which is always fun. It was also with one of the MW's I haven't met yet and I wasn't overly impressed.
Any ultrasound or doppler? HB is in the 150's. Last week it took almost 5 minutes to find her and she was tucked way in there, today she must have been in a better position because it took almost no time
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? She suggested I find a councilor and avoid stress. I kinda rolled my eyes, what exactly does she think I've been doing since I had my son, finding things that make my PPD/PPA worse and jumping for them? Anyway, I start Zoloft tonight to get ahead of the anxiety and so that when delivery happens I'm already on a therapeutic dose of something to prevent PPD again.
Any ultrasound or doppler? Doppler. Heartbeat found in under 2 minutes after hearing some movement & a couple kicks. =] She said baby seemed happy.
Did your doctor or midwife answer any questions or concerns you had? Didn't really have any but I got excited when she told me the hospital is building a brand new Maternity wing that is scheduled to be completed by September so I should have a good chance I'll deliver in the new part. =} Midwife said they should be calling me soon to schedule my 19 wk anatomy scan.
Mommy to Gabriel (12) and Isaiah (10) and Step-Mommy to Danely (17), Diego (9) and Leo (4). Trained doula going for certification!
