Baby Ronen is doing well... Me adjusting to the new sleep and breastfeeding is going a little slower!
My mom has come by the last couple of days just so DH and I can both get a solid 2.5 hours straight. Breastfeeding was great in hospital- would nurse 20-30 min each time. Now it seems like he just keeps pulling himself off after a few minutes. We usually average between 6-10 minutes, and since he is a preemie, I worry about his weight gain. I'm curious to everyone else's experience with this - please share!
And for the pic, first at home bath last night... He was not a fan! :-)
Congrats to all the new mommys! I love waking up and looking at all of the birth announcements!
My little Jonas is doing great. He is 2 weeks old today!! He has been out of the NICU for a week now. He still gets tired very easily so breastfeeding has been challenging. Basically we give him a full portion in the bottle of pumped milk and in the middle of his bottle time I let him breastfeed for 10 mins. I see my lactation consultant today, I'm very curious to see what his weight is this week.
I am enjoying him so much, being a mom is such an amazing feeling. It's like a whole new part of your heart opens up.
Awe so many cute babies! My little Violet is so tiny still. Only like 36 hours old. But I'm so in love. Just had to share another picture because that's what moms do...brag on their cute kids.
Lucine is a week and 3 days and she is keeping my hands full! She is gaining weight nicely and my midwife is very pleased with her progress. Breastfeeding is still rough but we are both getting the hang of it. Our cat has started to come around and will now grace us with his presence when she is in the room.... But he won't look at her.
We are doing great! Weekend mission is to plump him up because he is down a little bit too much from his discharge weight so we have another dr appointment Monday. Lots of breastfeeding and naked time!
This whole mom-of-two gig means baby girl gets carried a lot! Now that her clavicle is healing I've been given the ok to use the sling. Hands free while chasing a toddler FTW!
Its been an eventful week. We actually had an outing every day since we came home from the hospital, which I think has amazed everyone. My husband and I are a good team, and fortunately he loves the car and the car seat!
We had a circumcision with a Mohel on Wednesday, his first pediatric appointment on Thursday, and we all went to the chiropractor and Christian bookstore on Friday! For the next two days we are staying home, though!
Cora is 5 days old. She has been great so far. Last night she ate at 11pm,3am,6am and went back to sleep until 9am. She eats, I change her, swaddle her, and lay her down and she goes right back to sleep. I know it won't always be this easy but I'm enjoying it while I can. We're all in love.
Edited to add pic. (My mom is doing newborn photos tomorrow but yesterday we were getting the props ready. Couldn't resist!) Thanks @yogahhI hadn't updated the app.

How do I post pics from bump mobile?
That schedule sounds mighty familiar ! I'm loving it and also being realistic knowing this won't last ... But sure enjoying it .

Right above he text box where the font and smiley face is located is what looks like a piece of paper. Click on that. It will open your phones camera.
Loving everyone's babies! So adorable
@lalala2004 glad to hear you are getting out. My plan is at least an hour walk a day. Everyone looks at me like I'm nuts. Guess we'll be seeing soon if that's doable!
We took a walk earlier and spontaneously decided to be brave and try brunch with both kids. There was an iPad and lollipop involved, but everyone was happy and mommy had her first cocktail. It's a good day over here!
@yogahh I definitely could not walk for an hour, but my recovery was pretty rough. I could probably walk a mile. So like... 15 minutes. You may be able to do more but be sure to listen to your body and don't push yourself too hard.
