Hello everyone. I've been searching for a cute enough but also a cheaper crib mobile. I think we have finally found one. Post yours! We can already have it up right? I don't want to add extra stimulation to her new little vision.
This is ours- it's hanging in the crib now-- though she'll only be up there for nap times if I'm planning on doing stuff upstairs. At night she's going to be in our room in the pack and play- which has some dangling stars
Here is mine. Not a good shot. My mother in law bought me a kit to make our mobile. My friend got me these adorable avenger characters off etsy so I used them for the mobile!
Those are all really cute! I especially love the homemade ones! I didn't get a mobile, we didn't with DS either. I can barely keep track of getting all the practical stuff we will need.

I didn't think they were practical until i put DS down in his crib awake and spun it. I fully expected him to fuss, but he was perfectly content to stare at it! I was able to pack the diaper bag by occasionally spinning it again. So glad I have it! Not cheap, but here is ours:
I'm making a felt forest animal one myself. I have had the actual elements ready for ages but I had to wait for my mum to send me the little willow wreath she made me to assemble it. My parents are basketmakers and they were going to bring me the material for the wreath when they came to visit for my birthday (on March 22nd!) but they forgot. So then my mum made one for me and it took so long to get here we thought it had gotten lost in the mail.
It finally arrived yesterday and this thread had elevated my desire to AW the finished product, so I'll probably get on to assembling it today.
TL; DR - making my own, wil AW it later. These are the animals I made for it:
We got a used Winnie the Pooh one at a baby consignment shop. 6.50. Looked at BRU and it is close to 60 there. So happy to save money on that. DD has looked at it a few times but she doesn't sleep in her crib yet. She sleeps with us in a bassinet made to sit on the bed.

@littlebb22 that is so cute. I love air balloons. I was looking at a website where they had something similar but it was about $80 and I decided to go for pink hues for my little girl.
