I was really waiting for @comealongponds to start this thread, because she is much more articulate than I am. But I'm too excited, so here goes!
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? 2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? 3. Fears and concerns? 4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have?
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
13 weeks with Di-Di twins.
2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy?
Definitely seeing the excitement on DH's face when we talk about them. He's as happy as I am and that makes me love him even more. All the feels!
3. Fears and concerns?
So maybe I'm a little neurotic, but I bought a fetal doppler purely based on google telling me about vanishing twin syndrome. I've only been using it once a week or so. It's really helped solidify in my brain that there's two in there.
4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have?
We have a cat that we rescued 9 years ago. Her name is Pam and she is the. best. cat. ever. (Yes, I'm one of those people...) Side note: I had an appointment with the Doctor earlier and everybody looks healthy. She's going to send me to a high risk physician for my anatomy scan in a couple of weeks, but I shouldn't have to follow up with him unless something is wrong. So... fingers crossed.
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
14+2 with di-di twins
2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy?
The NT scan has been the biggest highlight! Seeing those tiny little humans moving and wriggling in there...I could have never stopped watching them.
3. Fears and concerns?
I mean, the logistics of two babies is crazy...I'm fine with letting other people's babies cry it out when they're just looking for attention and I'm tied up...I think it'll be harder with my own! I'm already hammering home the "two separate babies" thing to the families. DH and I don't want the constantly lumped together and developing some codependencies - no matching outfits or matchy names over here.
4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have?
We have a street cat turned house cat and a golden retriever.
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? I'm 11w5d today with di/di twins 2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? I love when other people have twins or are a twin find out I'm having them. I feel like I joined a big club and there is this unspoken connection 3. Fears and concerns? I mean I'm going to have two babies in scared of it all! Having done two singletons and going to twins is really stressing me out. And I'm so close to the magical 12 week mark but I'm pretty sure I'm still going to be nervous about something happening to one or both of them after that. 4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have? We have a very overweight mini dachshund named Marla. She and my almost two year old are inseparable.
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? I am 11+6 (sooo close to 12!) 2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? The amount of people who have already offered to babysit? Haha, I would have to say just the excitement that people are showing for us! 3. Fears and concerns? I have an ultrasound tomorrow, and I still have the fear that one will have vanished! Now, this is crazy because I have a home Doppler and usually manage to hear 2 distinct heartbeats a few inches from each other...but the fear is still there! I also have the irrational fear that they will see a few more babies in there! Twins are enough!!! 4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have? I have a crazy 3 year old Aussie named Arthur! My DD is obsessed with him!!!

How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? I am 13 weeks 3 days 2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? Getting to watch my hubby transform into dad mode. It's pretty great. We already have an 8 yr old from my previous relationship but seeing him being protective over these two and he hasn't even met them yet, just makes me love him more 3. Fears and concerns? I'm taking my gestational diabetes test at 16 weeks instead of 23/26 because I have PCOS and I'm terrified something is wrong with my babies and it would be all my fault. 4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have? I have a 11 yr old set in her ways cat, a spunky overweight 4 yr old puggle, a lively but loving 2 yr old pitbull/rottweiler, and my 8 yr old has a fish and a turtle. My house is a ZOO!!!!
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
I am 13+5 with di/di twins
2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy?
I think the amount of support from family and friends all ready to pitch in and help. It has been wonderful..we already have family members buying us diapers. The stockpile has begun.
3. Fears and concerns?
I have Lupus, and found out from my mfm today that I also have Lupus Anticoagulant syndrome. They started me on Lovanox injections (blood thinner) and a baby aspirin a day. I just keep reminding myself that my son was fine and all of these things went untreated through my pregnancy with him because I had not had a definite diagnosis at that time. But I did get to see my little ones today and everything was great. Just trying my best not worry too much.
4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have?
I have a very old mutt, that refuses to come in the house. She stays outside all the time (not because I make her) and barks at random stuff all day. She has arthritis in one leg, so she only walks on 3. She is super sweet though.
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
14 weeks with di/di twins. 2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? Just the excitement of my family when they found out I am expecting twins. 3. Fears and concerns? I am concerned about vanishing twin syndrome and preterm labor. 4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have? We have a 8 year old English Bulldog. He is very lazy
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? 13w with di-di twins.
2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? Getting to see the two waving and wiggling around during my NT scan.
3. Fears and concerns? My biggest concern right now is what if one twin falls behind developmentally? I think I'll feel a lot better once I feel them moving consistently and have my A/S next month. I had my NT and they were both measuring great, no issues, so I know my fear is mostly unfounded, but still new scary territory.
4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have? We have two large German Shepherds (5&7) that are great with my DD. They weren't so sure what to think with a baby before, but now that my DD is interacting and throwing balls for them, they love having a kid in the house. I don't know what they're going to think about being outnumbered soon though!
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? 12+3 with twins
2. What has been your most positive experience this pregnancy? Seeing my husband's reaction to the ultrasound; it was the biggest smile I've ever seen! 3. Fears and concerns? To many to list right now....this is our first pregnancy so we have no idea what to expect. Just looking forward to each next ultrasound to verify everything is still progressing okay. 4. GTKY: What type of pets (if any) do you have? No pets
