I mentioned in the post a while ago that I'd start a check-in but I suck and haven't been present much on this board because well having a small human to chase after is a lot of work. So now that we're all in the second trimester I thought it'd be good to see how everyone is doing.

2. How is it going for you? Still making milk and DS is nursing fine so it's still going well. I'm dreading when I'll stop making milk. I know it doesn't happen to everyone...
3. Any issues you've run into? Ugh the pumping! I get like 1oz each time which is sad. I'm so glad I have a freezer stash. I plan to stop after next week.
4. Accomplishments/concerns? Well we are almost at a year of nursing so I'm excited about that! I'm concerned about dry nursing and weaning during the day. I'd like to keep nursing in the morning and at night for as long as possible.
2. How is it going for you? Today I had a surprise ultrasound and full exam because I had some brownish reddish discharge. I was really nervous. Everything is ok though. In another week and a half we get our anatomy scan.
3. Any issues you've run into? Just today. 1st pregnancy was a breeze. I have a 17 month old daughter. We still comfort nurse. She obviously eats food, but we love our bond and she loves the boobies.
4. Accomplishments/concerns super proud that we are still nursing. I am alittle anxious to see how she will be when baby gets here. But hey that's why we have 2 boobies right?!
2. How is it going for you? Things are going well. We're only nursing once a day at this point.
3. Any issues you've run into? Definitely having some tenderness and the usual soreness I've had with my previous pregnancies.
4. Accomplishments/concerns? Honestly I'm just trying to keep up with my 4 year old (almost five!) and my two year old. I'm so exhausted all the time!
2) It's pretty rough, the nursing aversion is real. I get both physical aversion (super sensitive nipples and skin crawling sensation) and mental (I get super angry).
3) My biggest issue has been the twiddling. DS twiddles furiously because he wants more milk but there is less and less (but I know he's still getting some). It makes both aspects of the aversion worse but he flips out if I stop him.
4) I'm just proud that I'm sticking to my goal of letting him self wean despite how rough things are.
Quick question, anyone else getting flack from other people (HCPs, family, friends, randos) about pregnancy nursing and/or tandem nursing?

16 weeks -- nursing now for almost 3 years!
2. How is it going for you?
I'm sure my supply is almost gone. We mostly have boobies just at night for bed.
3. Any issues you've run into?
A little bit of aversion-- but mostly my breasts are so tender!

Hoping to make it to tandem nursing!

2. How is it going for you? I'm mostly dried up and my LO nurses maybe once a day. I think it's mostly for comfort than anything. Occasionally he'll want it in the morning and usually before bed for like 2-5 minutes max.
3. Any issues you've run into? Other than super tender and sore nipples, no issues.
4. Accomplishments/concerns? I would like to make it until he is 2 but we are just going 1 day at a time. I'm proud of myself for making this long.

2. How is it going for you? Eh. I can't have much supply, but my son still nurses 6-8 times most days.
3. Any issues you've run into? Super sore nipples, some aversion (especially in the middle of the night)
4. Accomplishments/concerns? I kind of want to wean -- he's almost 2 and would be fine -- but am afraid I'd regret it. I don't know if I have it in me to tandem nurse, honestly.

2. How is it going for you? Pretty well. DS bites every now and then, which isn't super great with sore nipples. Also have been feeling pretty exhausted and am having a hard time keeping up with calories/water.
3. Any issues you've run into? Just keeping up on hydration and calories, I've been having some nausea and food doesn't sound super great most of the time. Other than that, we're doing great.
4. Accomplishments/concerns? I am a bit worried about tandem nursing, and have no idea how to go about weening ds. I guess I'll figure it out as we go.
My midwives said there is no medical reason to stop breastfeeding while pregnant, unless there are severe complications with the pregnancy, but with a normal, healthy pregnancy you can keep feeding all along. I do worry about the possibility of my milk drying up, DS still feeds 2-5 times during the night depending on if he is going through a growth spurt, and 3-4 times during the day. But so far, no problems with supply.
