Upcoming appointments?
We have a midwife appointment this week. They wanted to do a mid-4 week appointment because of the surgery just to make sure everything is still good. Also only two weeks until out anatomy scan and I'm super excited to see lil bean again instead of just hear their heartbeat.
Rants/Raves/Questions:
Not pregnancy related, but we close on our first home on Wednesday and I'm absolutely thrilled! It's been such an emotional roller coaster I'll be glad to have it done.

1. I used to play roller derby.
2. My first trip outside the US I traveled to Ireland by myself. I didn't tell my parents for two years because I didn't want to listen to them telling me I wasn't spending my money wisely.
3. One of the things on my photography bucket list is to photograph a tornado.
4. I have an irrational phobia of stairs.
5. I've never broken any bones.

The stretching/growing is causing very uncomfortable cramps and at times, a sharp, stabbing pain in my abdomen. I called my OB and was told it's normal "growing pains" but I still can't help worrying. Anyone else experiencing this?

1. I'm a trained opera singer but no longer sing so I'm rusty as hell.
2. I'm in a group that does paranormal investigations because I'm fascinated by ghosts and want to see one (still haven't after almost a decade of investigating)
3. I have 5 siblings but only one is related by blood.
4. I'm the oldest child on my Mom/Step-Dads side and the youngest child on my Dad/Step-Moms side.

I get that pain in my abdomen too, my midwife said it was normal, but I sneezed today and almost fell on the floor because it hurt so bad.
How many weeks? 18
How big is baby? Pint of Ben & Jerry's - yum.
Upcoming appointments? Had one on Tuesday, so I won't have another for a month. And my anatomy scan isn't for another 3 weeks. It feels like forever.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel like I complain about this all the time, but I'm sick of being nauseated every time I eat. Some nights, after dinner, I want to throw a tantrum like my toddler.

1. I never learned to swim
2. I was a cheerleader in high school. The nerdiest cheerleader on the squad.
3. I lived in 13 different houses by the time I turned 13 - and neither of my parents was in the military.
4. Airplanes scare me. I'm not afraid of flying. I'm fine once I'm on the plane. I just get anxious standing near an airplane.
5. I've never been outside North America. I've been to Canada, but nowhere else outside of the United States.

2. I lived in Japan for 2 years after college.
3. I got my "dream job" at age 30 and quickly realized I was miserable. I quit after 8 months, moved back to my hometown and started a dog walking company. Haven't looked back since!
4. I'm obsessed with boats and boating but I'm terrified of open water.
5. I get a manicure every single week. Its the one thing I'm vain about!

@ignoscemihi - I'm the opposite of you, I grew up in the same house and never moved anywhere until I went to college. My parents still live in that house! I was always kinda jealous of kids that got to have new places.
@MRSCORKER - my travels are similar! I've been to every continent except...Europe. And I live in Boston. Europe should be a no-brainer.

Upcoming appointments? Had one this past week, our next one will be our a/s on May 26th. Can't wait to see this baby! It'll be so hard to look away when they show the boy/girl parts. Staying strong on team green!
Rants/Raves/Questions: I've been feeling baby kick a bunch today, and was able to feel it from the outside. It's so fun when they're the small little kicks before baby gets to big it feels like they're trying to punch their way out your belly button.

1. I went to college for about 10 years. To be a teacher. And now I'm a SAHM...whoops!
2. I'm absolutely terrified of spiders, and a lot of times scan walls and ceilings for them without even thinking about it.
3. I've always wanted to be a marine biologist, but I live in the midwest, so....
4. I watch the movie Hook every time it's on TV.
5. Like @nataliemaephotography I've never broken any bones. I've also never been stung by a bee, so I'm convinced I'm probably allergic and avoid them like the plague.
@kmalls That sounds like the best job! And I was never good at keg stands, but whenever I got the "waterfall" card in Circle of Death people always hated me. I used to be able to drink like a sailor.

Rants/Raves/Questions: My 3.5 year old has recently decided it's funny to run away from me. I never thought that I'd have a kid on a leash, but my sweet boy is super fast and me running after him, unfortunately, has an unwanted effect on my bladder.
