I was just noticing yesterday that both my girls have the same slate blue/grey eye color. L is three.and I don't think hers ever really changed from babyhood. DH and I both have blue-grey eyes, so there's very little chance R will have anything but the same.
His eyes are brown with a tint of blue. I'm really hoping that they'll be a hazel color. All the mixed babies on my mom'a side inherited these really pretty hazel eyes. My grandmother had them. Apparently her mother had grey eyes (she was native American) as where her dad had brown. But sadly I think his eyes will stay brown. But that's ok. He's my handsome Roo Bear anyways.
E's are brown and will probably stay brown. DH's are brown and mine are grey, but I'd be very surprised if they don't end up brown with her heritage. I tell her all the time she's my brown-eyes girl.
DD has dark blue on the outside and grey/ green in the middle. who knows! DH had blue green eyes. His family has alotbof yellow and green eyes. mine are green and brown so she could have any eye color really
Interesting thing.....my husband is half white / black and I'm native american. Our 2 year old has brown hair and brown eyes. Our baby boy looks like my husband and daughter just about in every way except he has light brown - almost blonde hair and blue eyes. He said his mom has a lot of family members who have blonde hair and blue eyes. In the meantime, other people ask if it's the mailman or milkman's baby.

If any of your parent have blue/light colored eyes, even just one of LO's grandparent, there are chances of having light colored eyes. I hate when people make comments like that. It's genetics and too many people are ignorant! Such a pet peeve! I'm annoyed for you haha!
I don't know yet because he is two weeks old but they should either be blue or green. It's weird the genetic calculator posted here gave complete opposite results of another one I used. This one said 70 something percent blue and the rest green, but the other one I used said most likely green (around 70%).
I have grey eyes. DH and DD have the same ice blue eyes. Right now, DS has the typical slate grey newborn eyes but they seem to get lighter everyday. I'm thinking they'll end up like DH and DD's. My MIL is adopted, but the orphanage said her parents were Russian. I'm Spanish and Mexican/Native American, but I have predominantly Spanish coloring and features.
Re: What colour are LO's eyes?
I played around with this simplified genetic calculator for some other traits, which was pretty fun.
