Stay at home moms

I am a new stay at home mom. I have always worked and cared for myself and my daughter. Well now with my son my boyfriend wants me home. Finances suck but day care would make it worse, plus I love being home. But I'm having a seriously hard time not having my "own" money. Constantly having to ask for it just doesn't work for me. Is there anything out there that stay at home moms can do that you actually make some money doing. Everyone I know sells scentsy so that wouldn't work and anything else like that I've learned is only short lived. Any suggestions?

    Are you a crafty person? Or like to sew?  That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I am sure there are more ideas but I am all out of brain power this morning already!

    My aunt is super talented and crafty, and she makes purses/clutches/diaper bags and sells on Etsy. She stayed home for years and made anywhere from $1k-2k a month doing this, although it took up a lot of time. Doing something like that is the only thing I can think of, if you are crafty or sew like the PP mentioned.

    Do you know any foreign languages? There are ways to get paid translating stuff.

    Maybe when your baby is a bit older and in a more predictable rhythm you could see about doing some in-home childcare with another child your daughter's age? Then she would have some company and you can bring in some cash while helping out another family.
