Will it ever return?

Anyone else still waiting for their first period post-baby? I'm not complaining, I'm just starting to wonder if it's ever going to happen!

I am breastfeeding DD which I know keeps it away. But I had read that when we started introducing food it would probably return. That was almost three months ago!

ETA: I went to urgent care for a sinus infection a couple months ago. When I answered that my last period was in October of 2014, the nurse looked at me like I had three heads!

It came back with my DS at 10.5 months so I am guessing it will be another 2-3 months for mine to return. I have zero signs of ovulating anytime soon.

Most ladies don't seem to get AF back until they start to night wean.

It came back on my oldest daughter first birthday. Still gone with this one and will be 9 months tomorrow.

No sign of return for me either but I do take the mini pill and breast feed. I have taken the mini pill in the past and I usually didn't have a period either. Before I got pregnant I stopped taking it and 2 weeks later we started trying and conceived on the first try. Then they would always ask when my last period was and I was like oh I don't know? lol so they definitely looked at me like I had 3 heads also.

At the risk of making everyone here hate me....DD consistently sleeps 12 hours in a row every night, and has been doing that since December. And yet, no period!

Mine returned in January. Son was 5 months old. I was still nursing and he would nurse about every hour and a half at night. I was pumping at work and noticed a slight drop in supply. Now I'm just hoping it will regulate.

It's probably the BFing. Everyone is different. Are you on any BC? That could also play a part if you are. Whatever the case, just run it by your OB if you're concerned, and enjoy it while it lasts!
I for one got AF back quickly, even when I was BFing, but I was on the mini pill and my body actually needs a progesterone boost to get my plumbing working right.
