What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is the size of a lime. This was the fruit I've been excited about since the beginning. Haha!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We're doing some serious updating in our house (haven't started construction yet but contractors have been hired).
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Husband let me know yesterday that he set up an email address for the baby so he could email him/her during the pregnancy. Sooooo sweet!
When is your next appointment: Just had one yesterday and everything was great. Next one is June 10th.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? Getting the construction started. We're having new floors put down in most of the house and then building a walk in closet in our bedroom. We are currently using our spare bedroom as our closet and obviously we'll need that for baby.
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is the size of a peach. It says it can suck it's thumb now, but I saw definite thumb sucking at my 10wk u/s! Liver, kidneys, and spleen all working.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I started an Amazon registry so I can get a discount on the few things we need.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm just still really tired, and I'm starting to have some back pain.
When is your next appointment: 2 weeks
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? Swimming and eating sno-balls. They are like sno-cones but the ice is shaved super fine, like actual snow.

What's new with baby (size, development): babies are the size of beets or troll dolls; they are practicing swallowing and sucking their thumbs
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: nothing much at the moment, I'm back at work now since the SCH was resolved at my NT scan.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: No more SCH! There was no sign of it last week at my NT scan. Migraines are back when I'm the least bit tired/sleep deprived (work ought to be fun), and having some reflux but mostly I'm constantly starving.
When is your next appointment: Wednesday with the OB, growth scan the following week!
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? - excited to spend lots of weekends at the cottage hanging out by the lake and drinking virgin girly drinks.
What's new with baby (size, development): A beet or a peach ( I feel like those are very different sizes)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Absolutely nothing lol
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I hadn't puked in almost 2 weeks and then randomly did this morning. I think I just ate too quickly and I waited too long to eat after waking up. So lame.
When is your next appointment: May 25th my OB is having us come in to see the gender! Our cake/party will be the 28th. Super excited.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? Vacation at MHs family beach house.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: still nothing
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: nausea has subsided considerably, but I'm still fairly tired.
When is your next appointment: next week
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? My oldest 2 have a couple summer sessions at their preschool this summer. I'm looking forward to having a few weeks of mornings being down 2 kids. Hoping to organize some play dates for the younger 2 during that time.

What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is the size of a lemon and has started to develop vocal chords and teeth!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We made a registry at Restoration Hardware and one at Pottery Barn (we won't give this one out, it's really just to keep track of what we'd like).
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I've been getting a headache almost every afternoon. Most of the time I can get by without taking Tylenol but sometimes it's too bad.
When is your next appointment: I don't have another one until June 1st at 16 weeks.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? Being off from work and our two family vacations to LBI and Rhode Island
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is the size of a peach/mouse and is sucking on his/her thumb.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I bought a car seat canopy. And started an amazon registry. The urge to start nesting is real already...
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm so excited to find out baby's gender in 2 weeks!! Also, my appetite is barely starting to creep back into my life.
When is your next appointment: 2 weeks - gender reveal!!
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer? Moving out of the swamp that is Florida and going to our new base in San Diego, CA!!
What's new with baby (size, development): Size of a matchbox car or lemon
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I bought some artwork for the Nursery.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: This week I really started to feel sick. It was mostly manageable/tolerable in the past weeks, but this week sucked. Seems to be better today. I don't think I look pregnant yet, but i started out a bit pudgy.
When is your next appointment: the 19th
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to this Summer?
Getting our house more ready for baby, and spending relaxing weekends at the family cottage.
@comealongponds your summer plans sound pretty much the same as mine! We have a cottage on a lake and I have been pinning cocktail recipes so I'm not the only one on the beach without a drink in my hand. Looking forward to cooling off in the lake, maybe getting some kind of pool float I can anchor.
