Twin Girl Names

Hi Ladies,
I don't come on here very often. The few times I have had questions, it has always been so helpful!

I currently have a 4 1/2 year old girl
(Samantha) and a 1 1/2 year old boy (Jackson). We are expecting twin girls in early June. We are having such a hard time with names this time around. Can I get some opinions?! We have a couple options....

Alexandra Grace "Alex"
Averi Mae            "Ave"

Alexandra Grace "Alex"
Aubree Mae         "Bree"

Molli Grace
Maci Lynn

What do you ladies think?

Thanks so much!!!

Well I am partial to the Alexandra and Aubree combo. My twin girls are Alexandria Hope and Victoria Faith.

  • First of all i love all these names so really hard choice but i think alexandra and averi are my favorite.

Btw im expecting boy/girl twins june 4. we are set on frank but cant decide on girls name either. We are down to a couple and avery is one of the finalists.

Another thought about the Alex and Bree combo is sometimes it is easier to abbreviate with different initials. My hubby and I will use the letters in text and when speaking to denote who we are speaking about, also when labeling their items.
  • I was thinking the same thing! I like that they both start with the same letter, but their nicknames don't. Easier when talking to them or about them, I think!

My twins are 2 1/2 now, second pregnancy this time with a singleton boy.  Twin pregnancy is definitely a beast though.

Right?! So much harder than my first two pregnancies. It's crazy! I think I am most nervous about the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 year stage with twins. My little guy is sooo busy and into everything.... I can't imagine that times 2!

Second pregnancy, sooooo much harder than my first. Doesnt help that i have a high energy toddler that i seriously cant keep up with. Doc put me on bedrest 3 weeks ago, so trying to relax and keep these babies in as long as possible. :)

had an ultrasound on monday, babies are both head down so my doc will let me try for normal delivery as long as my complications dont get worse. Keeping my fingers crossed!

2 1/2 is the hardest stage yet. Newborn was not as bad as I had it built up to be in my head. They were in the NICU for 3 weeks and that was actually good because we were able to practice with them with the pros around lol. We never put them on a true schedule and I think that really worked well for us, they are when they were hungry and slept when they slept and I think that helped them be more adaptable as they grew.
  • Alex and Bree.  I don't care for the "i" endings on the other names, and also would have a slight preference that their names not start w/the same letter.

I am beyond jealous that both yours are head down. I have had two very nice and easy vaginal deliveries and never imagined myself having a c section. However, Baby A is breech and Baby B is transverse. :( I am still holding out hope that at least Baby A flips.... That's all my doc need to go vaginal.

This is my last week at work, then modified bed rest. I'm ready, I'm exhausted! Lol.

I'm expecting twin boys and Aldo have a toddler!!  I'm with both of you, I'm way more miserable with this pregnancy!  I'm 32 weeks with Baby A head down and Baby B transverse.  Also, hoping he flips around!  I'm too scared gir a c-section!!
