I can't find the symptoms thread. Also I bet I'll get more answers this way anyway. Please excuse my clutter.
I just collapsed walking to the kitchen to get DD a snack. As in, I saw stars and fell to the floor. It was scary. My dizziness has gotten way worse this week and I don't know what to do about it. I know it's unlikely but now I'm super worried if that happened and I hit my head and blacked out or something what would happen to DD. Also I just can't stand up today. I've moved all the diaper changing stuff downstairs, and I can't carry DD up and down the stairs anymore because I'm afraid I'd collapse and drop her. For naptime she crawls up the stairs, and we scooch back down together with her sitting on my lap. She's not eating nearly as healthy food as usual because I'm just grabbing what's easy. This is easily the most debilitating symptom I've had with either pregnancy.
Anyone dealt with this too? Tips for being less dizzy, or at least for easy ways to fix healthy snacks for toddlers? Thanks in advance.
Re: Extreme Dizziness
In terms of snacks, can you prep a bunch in the evenings after she's in bed and things are a little calmer? Slice fruits and veggies, cook frozen fish sticks or chicken nuggets, portion out cottage cheese and yogurt into little containers, etc. Having them at the ready seems key.

I weirdly have not had the dizziness that bad this time around. I hope you feel better soon! That's always been a huge fear of mine (something happening to me and my toddler left alone to fend for himself)
Oh oh and no advice on the snacks. My toddler doesn't believe in snacks.
Eat something sugary and drink a few glasses of water in case it's low blood sugar or low BP (had your BP been running low?) but please get seen. I have dizzy spells when I stand quickly but I have known low BP (100s/60s) so usually if I chug some water and take it slow, I'm okay. It may be benign, but it may be caused by blood pressure or heart issues that need intervention soon.
@katemr1146 I've been eating those little cups of peach pieces in juice, but coke is a good idea too! Thanks!!
Are you drinking enough and eating enough yourself? It's often hard to remember to take care of ourselves when young children are demanding our everything. Also, your blood volume is increasing rapidly so your blood pressure is dropping as a result. Right about now is when dizziness is expected to peak, so hopefully it gets better soon.
As for less healthy snacks (or too much tv, or whatever anyone is worried about), this too shall pass and doesn't have to be your new normal. Survival mode for now until you're feeling better. Same goes for 3rd tri exhaustion and for having a newborn.
