First ultrasound

Hi everyone, hoping you can ease my mind. I went in yesterday thinking I was 7 weeks 3 days (I was tracking and on clomid). Anyway, I measured 6 weeks and 5 days and hr was 133. Dr said everything looked good, but wants me to come back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound. This really worries me because I've never heard of this. My last pregnancy, I didn't go back for awhile after seeing the heartbeat. Hubby thinks if there was a concern they would have been honest, but I'm thinking they didn't want to cause me to worry. Thoughts? Thanks!

    If measurements are off from what is expected, it is common practice to repeat the scan in a week or two to ensure that growth is on track and there are no concerns.

    It's not uncommon for first trimester ultrasounds to be up to 1 week off. I wouldn't worry since you saw the heartbeat.

    EDD 12/1 based on O, 11/28 per Ob/Gyn (but he's wrong lol).
