So the beta numbers came back and the dr said everything looks great! He was concerned a bit about the TSH level. He said it was slightly elevated but didn't tell me any numbers on it. I have hypothyroid so he bumped up my dose from 100 to 112. I have a dr appt on 5/11 then I will get it rechecked. I have a history of m/xs so naturally, this has me concerned. Should I be or am I letting my nerves get ahead of me?

Re: Elevated TSH?
So that being said- I think its perfectly normal for your body's needs to change even in early pregnancy and to adjust your dose if needed.
My hands/arms recently got SUPER SUPER dry, so I'm wondering if I need a dose adjustment too....
Pregnancy can elevate your TSH levels, as long as the Dr is ahead of it and bumping your meds you're fine. Also, May 11th is less than 10 days away and a new dose of medication can take up to 6 weeks to totally register so don't panic if your levels don't go down as far as they should by that appt.

I know that doctors like it to be between 1-2 when you are pregnant or TTC, but I don't know how quickly that number can change, or how often you need to adjust meds when you become pregnant??
I am only on half a pill per day (25 mcg I think)
