I don't really have a specific person as a twatwaffle - more of just a task I have to do now. My boss is worried I could go into labor at any moment now, and they won't know where I'm at on emails and work products. I was asked today that at the end of each day I send an email with things that still need to be followed up on, so if I don't show up tomorrow, then they can follow-up. I totally get the idea behind it, but what a PITA to have to recap everything that you're waiting on at the end of every day. That's why I cc: you people!
Re: Twatwaffle Tuesday 5/3
So sorry he's being such a glassbowl
Edited to say that his reasoning, besides it being too much pressure (lol) was that I told him I wasn't giving him an anniversary present a few days ago. Our anniversary is next week, and I told him not to worry about that because I know he hates presents and I figured we would just skip it, especially because I already got him a "welcome to fatherhood" gift, which I did tell him about.
...which leads me to say that my DH is my TW today. He started saying that he was going to have a yard sale this Saturday/Sunday to which I responded "ok, Sunday is Mother's day". And he replied with "oh awesome, a lot of mothers love to yard sale...." then continued to say all irritated-like, "unless you had plans or something". *Face palm*. Like dude, seriously, I've only had 3 of our children so far and you can't take a day, Mother's Day of all days, to recognize that. Ugh. I ALWAYS go all out on Father's Day. So I'm with you @Jparke2 if he isn't going to acknowledge me, then I won't acknowledge him.
Short story: Father's Day 2014, I took DH, our 2 boys, me and my BIG pregnant OVER DUE belly to this off the beaten path, no service, hard to get to, beautiful creek and made him an amazing lunch that he wanted with his favorite beer... I was literally on my hands and knees climbing up and down this steep hill because my giant belly was really throwing me off. That's dedication for the man... and now he wants throw another yard sale.
I feel like if your LO is here for Mother's Day, you should get a gift. Our LO isn't even here yet and I ALREADY have DH's Father's Day gift.
