  I'm saving it all until next Winter. The local children's consignment gave me less than a dollar per outfit for things with tags still on them.  Vacuum sealed ziploc clothes storage is my favorite thing right now

  Definitely wait until it's in season. I find they like it if I wash the clothes then lie them flat in a laundry basket.

  We have two local huge consignment sales that I've been told people wind up with more money than giving to a consignment shop. The sales happen each spring and fall. You could check and see if any of these take place near you too. Great for selling other items too.

  I'm going to pass on everything possible to friends/family and then have a garage sale for anything remotely usable for another child since a lot of it will have been through two kids. Man I can't wait to purge so many things!

  I'm keeping the nice clothes and sewing together like a patchwork quilt out of them and the rest of the stuff I'm either giving to family or giving it to refugees/ mothers in need.
  I hardly paid for clothes so I don't really expect to make money from them

  I personally find consignment stores to be a waste of time. Unless you have an awesome children's consignment near you that you use, I'd consider a yard sale or donating them. 
  I'm keeping everything. I want a second baby even though my SO doesn't and I'm not ready to accept I might not need it. 
  Anything I don't want to keep or never used I boxed up to drop off at our town's free store.

  I second trying to selling them on craigslist, letgo, facebook, or a yard sale if you can first. You will get more money thay way. The place I use doesn't buy single separates (like pants without the matching top), bibs, socks, etc.
  
  I probably won't be taking in any more of LO's clothes because I didn't get much from them, but I did take them in out of season and they were mostly newborns.
  
  I bought quite a few rompers and onesies for 1.50-3.50 though so I will shop there!

  I was going to sell my clothes that I don't like and will not put my next children in, but the pennies I'd get for them seemed not worth it. Instead I'm collecting them in a box and am going to drop them off at a women's shelter close to my house. Seems like it would go farther there.

  I'm giving DDs clothes away. I know a lot of pregnant people right now that could use them. 99% of her clothes were gifts so I feel bad trying to sell them. I'll never buy consignment again. I stocked up on PJs and summer clothes at a local kids sale. I bought mostly 6-9 month clothing but the previous owners dried the heck out of the clothes and they shrunk. So they dont fit DD. I can find the same price clothes brand new elsewhere.
