Bleeding after sex QUESTION

in October 2016 Moms
anyone awake? I'm freaking out and don't know what to do. My FI and I just had sex and afterward I wiped and it was like sex during a period, more than spotting. He had it all over him and I keep wiping and it's still there. I'm worried I should go to the ER??

    I would call your doctor. Mine has an after hours emergency line and so you should be able to talk to a doctor on call and find out whether you should go to the ER or not.

    +1, there will always be an OB on call. Remember that it's highly vascular down there during pregnancy. Odds are good that it's just a scare.

    My doctor told me to expect bleeding everytime DH and I have sex, or everytime my appointment requires her to do a pelvic exam. I wouldn't say it's ever been period like, but it's scary. You did the right thing calling them!

    Thanks @LGW2015! Yeah @MrsHudson2014 In all my pregnancies I have never had that happen, not even spotting so to have that amount was scary. I knew I wasn't going to sleep if I didn't know she was alright, it was worth the time at the hospital to be reassured.
